New Major Mute Case Under Investigation!

Fascinating and eager to hear about it. Wondering out loud whether possible to do a one-off single case 'breaking news' kind of a discussion show for Paracast? I don't know if you're talking to people, Chris, or just hearing details from the 'invisible college,' but doing a couple of quick...

    Art Bell returns!

Returns, ripping off Don Ecker. Nice move.

    Richard Toronto and Geneva Hagen

Harlan has been interviewed on radio recently (Kicks Books released some of his early short stories), so he is kind of available, and he might be amused to pummel and punch and rip to shreds ANY parabeliefs anyone might have. And he would be extremely entertaining/intelligent. Just don't get on...

Thunderbird Sighting 5.17.13 in Derry Township, PA?

Pretty close to... not Point Pleasant, but Mt. Pleasant. Clearly a mothman sighting, not Thunderbird. Seriously though, love these reports. Isn't Ken Gerhardt coming up with a new book on winged beasties? Maybe a future Paracast show..

    What Should I read Next

If you liked Keel, I'd recommend trying some mid-period Jacques Vallee books. I like MESSENGERS OF DECEPTION, which is about cults and contactees, and if you're interested in something a bit deeper, PASSPORT TO MAGONIA. A good guide to the mess that ufology was in the late 80s and early 90s, his...

I'm just reading the engagingly written but visually pedestrian Fred Nadis book on the subject. Besides having known Shaver and spending decades studying and discussing his works, what other reasons are there to pick your book over Nadis'? Also, I'd love to hear you discuss Shaver's...

Never paid for one, though when I like a show I'll often offer design help or something along those lines for free. Always enjoy Radio Misterioso with Greg Bishop, Don Eckers Dark Matters of course, and jump to other shows depending on the guests. Speaking of Paul Devereux, he did appear a...

I just came across that one yesterday when Nick Redfern blogged about being on the latest episode. Haven't listened to it yet but now will make it top priority. Thanks!

Found a good podcast. Shocked. Only four episodes so far. Made by the people who brought you the skeptical Righteous Indignation. Which means it is likely to sustain its momentum in producing bi-weekly episodes for some time to come. It's titled Fortean Radio. They have, so far, covered Crop...

    Jane Goodall on Bigfoot (again)

Bit more than what she said in the NPR interview some years ago: Jane Goodall 'Fascinated' By Bigfoot (VIDEO)

    Rosemary Ellen Guiley 12.07.29

Thanks for asking my question. Nice to hear someone mention T. C. Lethbridge. There is a very good recent bio on him by Terry Welbourn, The Man Who Saw the Future. Overall a very good episode, though I wonder where can you find her book? I couldn't locate it on amazon myself…

LAST MINUTE! Questions for Rosemary Ellen Guiley

Dowsing rarely gets mentioned these days, but I'm curious what she thinks of it as an easy entry point, a tuning fork if you will, to trying things out for oneself? It is one of the few instances where even professionals (like archeologists & geologists) are inclined to accept its possible value.

    UFO Coverup-Greg Bishop and DMR!

Loved it. Level headed, speculative, investigative, open minded discussion. Thanks for a great show, Don. I'll second Ward's suggestion: I'd love to see some FOIA results (or any other for that matter) come back on Harry Rositzke. For all I know, they might back up your feelings on the matter...

Love Paracast...but what else should I listen to?

If you're interested in Bigfoot, the BIPCast shows (years old) are excellent. It's less focused follow-up, The Bigfoot Show, is a fun, intelligent, but a VERY casual listen. I'll also suggest trying out old episodes of Let's Talk Bigfoot, which had some wonderful episodes (some clunkers as well...
