Take a look at Germany, for one. Denmark?

Nothing like avoiding a question that you CAN'T answer without proving the point that the USA has suffered immeasurably due to the left's failed policy implementation. Show me evidence in the ONLY place that's relevant to this thread, namely the United States, wherein left policy and program accomplished what they claimed it would. How about this wording more specifically, show me ONE instance where the programs they initiated didn't make the social situation they sought to aid WORSE off than before they exponentially worsened them.

Precisely what does the rest of the world, which is actually a total FAIL because Socialism HAS in fact failed the economies within most of the European countries in which it was initiated, have to do with with the topic of this discussion?

I love references to Scandinavian countries! lol! Oh you mean those countries that mostly DO NOT allow the free flow of immigration into them. They have very stringent policies in place with regard to what the USA openly welcomes. You mean the Scandinavian countries that have almost no poverty and a welcome mat out for freeloaders?

Lost, critically and absolutely LOST.

Out of all of the major newspapers within the US, there are a mere six that have endorsed Trump, and I believe one is a Las Vegas paper owned by Trump’s buddy & casino magnet, Sheldon Adelson.
On the other hand, Clinton has been awarded over eighty newspaper endorsements.

These Are the Only 6 Newspapers in the Country to Endorse Donald Trump

I LOVE this!

Imagine that! Most of the LIARS and liberal drum beaters are aligned with Hillaryous. ROTFLMAO!!! Kinda making our point there for us, eh S.R.L.? :p

I reframed that post just for you in knowing your response.

Gawd, this is fun …

I would sit around and chat with you all day, but this socialist (?) has to go out & produce an income.

Bwahahahaha!

The rest of the world is doing just fine, thanks!

Well, no, your comments have just a passing connection with the facts or what I've said on the subject.

I have a friend sort of like that in the real world

Solid political answer, but wasn't trying to get into a game of semantics on the exact details of what someone did or did not say. I simply expressed that I have a close friend who also constantly defends and makes excuses for Hillary's growing list of crimes and is unmovable in their support, similar to the way you continue to defend her, which is utterly baffling.

You're a bright fellow, involved in a tech podcast, smart enough to see that the truth of the UFO situation doesn't add up and made a semi-popular show from it, but you have this bizarre cognitive dissonance about candidate Clinton.

There is no genuine evidence — I said genuine — evidence that she's committed any crimes. But start looking at what Trump has done and it ain't pretty.

Lol.

GWP continues to grow year over year.

We are currently in the most peaceful period in human history.

We currently have the lowest crime in human history.

We currently have the highest education standard in human history.

Slavery is all but abolished worldwide. As is childhood labour, curable diseases, and many other things if you look at a global scale and over the breadth of human history.

America has been a great partner in many of these things.

But to think the rest of the world looks at Trumps potential rise to power as anything but a joke at best and a profound failing of your culture at worst is a mistake.

It is likely either or both those things -- a joke and a profound failure.

Infowars = unproven rumors. This is not about the wacky places online that you can find silly theories and manufactured evidence. Let's get this off the table.

Yes, I realize that Alex Jones makes lots of money for the network that carries our shows, but there is no loyalty oath.

I have to disagree in the strongest terms regarding:

"Slavery is all but abolished worldwide. As is childhood labour, curable diseases, and many other things if you look at a global scale. "

Bonded labour including of children, is as prevalent today as it ever was, in fact in terms of actual numbers of people, there are probably more people in such circumstances that at any other point in time.

Just because you don't see it doesn't mean its not there.

If you look at where and how things are made, you will see that the first world has relocated its manufacturing into the third world.

Today is Halloween, I wonder how many first world children realise that a good majority of the throw away consumables their parents buy for them (costumes, hats etc) are made by children of a similar age to them, under the most horrendous and hazardous conditions imaginable? Not many I would say. It is impossible to blame the children if the parents taught them otherwise, and how can you teach something you don't even know?

People are willfully ignorant when it suits them, but most people are innocent and not privy to all the facts, and the shops don't tend to advertise that some of the products they sell are manufactured by child labour. People will always go for the lowest possible price, that is normal behaviour.

There are currently somewhere between 12 and 40 m human beings in some form of slavery now.

Which is horrible.

But it is also half a percent of the population.

It is also illegal in every country on the planet. For the first time, ever.

150 years ago in Virginia, 30% of the population were slaves. And it was legal.

And so goes human history.

I think Hillary would have (and did) handle herself just fine regardless of any possible help but still I have to say that Brazile is quite a real peach isn't she?

There is no shortage of people doing stupid things. But Hillary clearly wasn't given questions in the debates. I don't know about campaign events, but if it was done, it was inappropriate. She's a brilliant woman and nobody needs to prompt her on how to answer a question.

How do you qualify this statement Gene? And if you reply, "I don't need to." you just have. I see positively nothing about her, or her accomplishments, that underline true "human brilliance". I think Ben Carson was unquestionably the most intellectual individual to run, and frankly, I don't even see Hillary as being in the same universe with respect to sheer intellect.
