Apollo 14 Astronaut claims UFO Coverup!

Free episodes:

I agree! It was nice to hear Stanton talk about some different things, his interviews have become almost rehearsed and not interesting at all. I wonder is Stanton drinks? Can you imagine the things he might further explain?

I think it would be kind of cool if Gene and Dave would take a pole from the listeners and find out what they would ask certain guest. Not at all hinting that they don't ask the right questions, but sometimes hearing other people questions can put an interesting twist or shed a new light on a subject.

I believe you mean a "poll"...

I'd like the hosts to ask Mitchell about some of Hoagland's claims... I'm sure it would provide popcorn-munching hilarity!

I know Stan a little bit, but not much though. I think he prefers food over booze. I don't think he drinks, but maybe a little. Gene knows him better I think. Stan drunk would probably lead to more bashing. Which I like.

Gene put up a forum for questions. It serves as a poll.

I recall Mitchell being on with a no moon landin person years ago. Art Bell. Ed lost the debate actually. It was a Hoaglandish person. Late 90s, perhaps 98. I might try and find it later.

In addition to asking Mitchell about whether and when Haut was one of his informants, he should also be asked for the names of any other informants who have now passed on--and the approximate dates when they divulged their information to him. Such supporting testimony would be quite important.

He probably won't give the names. He might when he's on a death bed, however, I expect something written instead. Depending on his condition. These are just guesses.

ed's "informants" aren't Haut, to the best of my guess. These were people outside of the bandwagon that confirmed the bandwagon. Or, Ed is lying.

Or, Ed is lying.

And that is a very interesting.
When I listen to Mitchell's interviews, my intuition doesn't ring that same "I don't buy this" alarm bell that, for instance, Boyd Bushman or Steven Greer have triggered. But then again one can argue that intuition counts for nil.

My guess is that either Mitchell's statements are largely correct or that he is a victim of some complex disinformation plot.

For now, I'd assign the above a higher probability than the possibility of Mitchell being a liar or Mitchell being delusional. My lim 2/x, x->infinite eurocents.

What do you think?

Even though I've witnessed unusual nighttime lights moving around, I have had a very, very difficult time coming out and telling anyone that I "believe" or "know" that ufos could be alien space craft. Shit, I can't even write it! All the evidence, all the mythology and hearsay, all the credible witnesses, and I can't commit. Even if I saw a daytime UFO, something that was undeniably not ours, I might have trouble coming to terms with admitting it.

Phil Corso impressed me, but I still have reservations about him, and he didn't change my opinion.

Dr. Edgar Mitchell really impresses me, and his character and history honestly made me want to accept what he says. It sort of came down to, "if you can't believe this guy, then who can you believe."

I'm not ready to commit. I may never be. Sometimes I wish I was simple enough to take people at their word and not examine things from a thousand angles. Whatever the case, it seems like things have been speeding up in scope and occurance every since the Phoenix Lights. Even my mom talks about UFOs these days, bless her heart. There has been a real change taking place in the media, as everyone has seen. Strange days, indeed.

Tonight I listened to Mitchell's "interview" with George Noory on C2C from last night. Mitchell doesn't provide much info at all beyond what he said in the radio piece: mainly that he's heard some things from old timers within the space industry and government, etc. I also found it very strange that Noory never asked him for names, dates, that sort of thing.

<!-- google_ad_section_end -->Australian Radio National - 'Scientific' Anthropocentrism against Edgar Mitchell

On July 25th, Australian Radio National has decided to ask Dr Stephen Hughes, a physicist from the Queensland University of Technology and Dr Karl Kruszelnicki for their views on Edgar Mitchell's and his statements about extra-terrestrial nature of UFO phenomena.

Stephen Hughes states that „planet Venus is the commonly spotted natural UFO“ and that „there's a very strong psychological component that normal people do see things which are not there“. „We can actually see things which are not there. The brain can make up these things maybe from visual cues. That's just the way our minds work“, Hughes says.

Dr. Karl Kruszelnicki has similar views as his colleague. He states that there is no reason to keep UFOs secret. „I mean do they think that if we know that there's a life form from another planet that we'll all suddenly bite ourselves on our belly buttons? All I want to do is see the proof; and the proof is really easy. You just get one of your alien mates to land their UFO in the middle of the football field on some sort of football grand final: round ball, AFL whatever. And that'll convince everybody in the world really quickly“, Kruszelnicki concludes.

Dr. Kruszelnicki's „rapid expertise“ on the UFO field research and human psychology has also painted Mitchell with the delusional colors of the rainbow. He thinks that the human brain is „immensely complicated“ and that „space travel could have real effects on our minds that we just don't understand“.

And from us here in Australia today too.....

NASA astronaut Edgar Mitchell says alien Earth visits covered up

http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0,22606,24070176-5007380,00.html

I love this bit:

In a statement, a spokesman said: "NASA does not track UFOs. NASA is not involved in any sort of cover-up about alien life on this planet or anywhere in the universe. "Dr Mitchell is a great American, but we do not share his opinions on this issue.'

Typical smooth-over.

Right. So, Mitchell is a great American, but he's either gone insane and believes it happened (when it never did) or he's a complete liar? Hmmm.

You can't SHARE opinions on fact. It is either true or false. If it is false then Mitchel is either insane or lying. Otherwise, what he says is true. Simple logic.

And that is a very interesting.

What do you think?

Bushman? Hehe. The greatest guest ever. What a total hoot he was. He was such a rabble-rouser - I think he likes to mess with people's heads.

Greer? A complete and utter waste of space. He needs to do more brain reps and less pec work.

I think it's very likely that most of Mitchell's information comes from witnesses connected to the Disclosure Project.
He has stated that he's been involved in "Commitee's and Project's" were the ET presence is common knowledge. He is probably talking about the Congressional "Briefings" CSETI held inn Washington April 1997,where 12-15 military/intelligence witnesses testified before members of Congress...
It was also the same week that Mitchell,Greer,Lovekin etc. met with Admiral Thomas R. Wilson at the Pentagon, and provided him with the code numbers to a black program, supposedly dealing with ET technology....

I think it's very likely that most of Mitchell's information comes from witnesses connected to the Disclosure Project.

That's not really a black mark. As has been noted many times there are plenty of solid sources in the DP, the problem is they're mixed in with the loons, so if he's refering to DP as sources then it's a crap shoot until he reveals WHO they are.

I agree...

I wish just One journalist would ask him, point blank,if Adm.Wilson is one of his sources...
Problem is;
There's not One mainstream journalist who knows the story...*sigh*...:frown:

Oh Jesus christ. Give me a break.... these guys are really claiming that when people see structured craft or a floating orb neutralises a nuclear weapon that its Venus?

Karl K is no authority on anything really. Hes just really well read and likes to pretend hes incredibly smart and knowledgeable on anything and everything. Well hes obviously not well enough read on the subject of UFOs. It just pisses me off that guys like this get put into the position of being able to express their view on the subject and somehow its deemed authoritative.

I worry that mitchell source's are not reliable, To me it seemed like he was baseing his information on stuff from other people involved in ufology. If it was a smokeing gun witness, He would definately have alot more to say, than what he is saying at the moment. It would be a pity if that is so
