what the fuck 'Godlikeproductions'

Free episodes:

i really don't know anything about them, but ill say its the first time that I've ever heard a show were the audio quality was better from a telephone then the actual hosts...man they need to work on there sound quality. As for the questions..oh boy..

but Don did go into so really cool stuff about the early days of ufology, Don is a flippin Tandy computer himself remember all those events with such detail.

Also when asked about Copper "mysterious death" i completely LOL over his response. That was a classic Don moment.

Don, fuck these guys, for real.

I'm listening to the mp3 of the show and...'hosts'...

Hahaha, I had a similiar reaction during the show.

It left me friggin flabbergasted.... I even checked out their forums too and decided to produce the following picture in an attempt to summarize the environment on that board:

(I think I nailed it with this one)

I'm on my old browser at work today so I may be missing something. I like to come in early and read the boards before starting my workday. Coffee and the Paracast in the AM. :-) Anyway, what is godlikeproductions and was Don a guest or something? I did google it and came up with a gagglefuck message board. Not that there's anything wrong with that. They seemed to have different views on the forum...reminded me of home. :-) But, I didn't click on the podcast or read much on the boards so I'm not real sure (not sure at all) what they are about. Anyway, just thought I'd ask. :-)

They've been around for a long time, at least in cyber years. No sane people post there for over a week. Sane person stays longer, not sane no more. See, my grammar is slipping just thinking about those poor wretches. I suppose they need a place to go and drool on one another, but I can't stand to watch.

I haven't listened to the interview and don't plan to, even though I'd like to hear selected bits. I could stand fifteen or twenty seconds or so. Don, I don't know how you do it! All those years as a detective must have given you quite the immune system!

Well Double Naught, I didn't have a clue as to who those guys were. All I knew was that they had contacted the President of Cameo Ent. and asked if I would do a "chat" with them since my Cooper show was causing such a stir. I ended up saying sure when I had time. Needless to say, now I DO KNOW BETTER. Once burned ... twice SHY.

Sorry to hear that - they are much more expensive than a low end PC.

The Mac argument doesn't work. Apple won't make cheap junk. They build great gear at fair prices, which often last twice as long as a cheap PC, and cost much less to maintain. In the end it is cheaper over a period of a few years.

I have a Mac, and I recommend them to anyone that can afford them, but the truth is that Apple does not make anything low end. My dad wanted a new laptop and he gave me a budget of $600. There was no way I could get him a new Mac, so I bought him a Dell that suits his needs. In their price range though, I think Macs are better - but that's an opinion.

Why is it that Mac owners are always trying to convert everyone over to their side? Seriously, with fans like this Apple shouldn't ever have to do any advertising. :)

A Mac mini is $699 US. A $600 Dell will self-destruct in two years. There's little savings there.

Gene, I understand that a Mac Mini is $700, but it isn't a laptop, which is what my father wanted. I would have totally preferred he get a Mac, but it was not in his budget. In the price range, an Apple computer is a fantastic piece of hardware, but Apple chooses not to compete in the lower end/budget market. I know plenty of people that have 5 year old Dells that are still chugging along with no issues, just like I know people that had to bring their Macs in for repair after 2 years. The parts they use are the exact same ones, all made in China. The difference is the aesthetic and the fact that the software and the hardware are made for each other.

Wickerman, Apple has a lot of really loyal fans. I'm one of the go to guys among the people I know for computer advice, and when someone wants to buy a computer I usually ask them two questions:

1. What's your budget?
2. Do you play games?

If answer to number 1 is over $1000 and the answer to number 2 is no, I wholeheartedly recommend a Mac because I know from experience that I will have very few questions from that person in the future. Even with games, Macs are getting a lot better, but you have more choice with a PC. With Windows 7, PCs are really great now, but I would still not move away from OS X - its just too well integrated with everything I use. In my opinion, Macs still work better for me, but that's just an opinion.

Fun fact that has no bearing on anything: most high profile skeptics are Mac users - eg. Richard Dawkins, Brian Dunning, Rebecca Watson, Penn Jillette, among others. Just thought I would throw that in there to show that highly logical people choose Macs :)

So, can we use the word "fuck"????

We're all adults here. I won't ban anyone for using it unless he or she is abusive towards another member, but from experience, most posters rarely use any profanity on the web site. In my personal life, I swear a lot unless I'm around my parents or older sisters even though they swear like sailors. In person though, I swear a lot - in my mind they are just words. The only words I don' use are those that are derogatory or racist.

Oh please God!!! Don't let this thread, in your Divine Wisdom, turn into a fucking Mac Fan-Boy thread!!

LOL!!
