Tim Edwards UFO video

Free episodes:

It is really hard to tell too much from the youtube videos I've seen. It looks a bit like a reflection/projection of some kind. I've often thought that UFOs have the characteristics of projections of some sort. They are more often than not silent and move about in non-aerodynamic flight. I'm not saying that is what they are of course.

Is this what they are talking about with James Fox in paracast_091018.mp3 about half way through? I think so. David originally wants to dismiss it then reconsiders after James relates his impression of the witnesses.

what are everyone's thoughts on it?
Ahh, one of my most notorious cases. When the Salida, CO sighting occurred I immediately found out about it through the local media. I chose to do a thorough investigation for corroboration around the region BEFORE contacting Edwards. I was able to dig up over a dozen additional witnesses. What isn't well known about the event is the fact that over 20 additional witness around south-central Colorado evidently observed the sighting—including a college astronomy class out on a field-trip. Another element I think points to the apparent reality of the sighting is the effect that it had on Edwards. It literally changed his life. He became obsessed and fell into a whirlwind. Requests came in from all over the world and he sent out hundreds of copies of the footage, free of charge; he never attempted to capitalize on the event i.e., write a book, start a cult or hit the conference circuit and his obsession had an adverse impact on his relationship, family and on his health. Sadly, Tim died during routine surgery about two years ago. To my knowledge the footage passed muster with at least four video analysts. The following are excerpts from my second book Enter the Valley page 77

"Chip Peterson, an aerospace engineer specializing in computer-enhancement and stabilization, was contacted by the Paramount Television program Sightings and asked to take a look at Edwards video. He was interviewed for a segment on the Salida footage...

"'When you look at moving video, what you're actually seeing is thirty frames-per-second flipping on the screen very quickly, and that's what we've got right here. What you're seeing is the edge of each frame I had to stabilize by hand in the center of the screen.' Peterson points to the object on the screen which shows a completely stabilized gutter edge and the impressively darting craft, which appears to move great distances effortlessly in the blink of an eye. 'After you stabilize the image, you can see the motion much more clearly. Based on what I know of atmospheric flight, it doesn't look like any conventional aircraft.' It sure doesn't. Once the wobbly, hand-held movement is factored out of the image, the object's movements look virtually impossible to perform based on our understanding of conventional propulsion and inertia.
"Another analyst was enlisted to scrutinize the footage for the television news-magazine Inside Edition. John Deturo is a video analyst working at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY, who has actively debunked supposed UFO footage. [The Salida footage was Deturo's first non-debunking of UFO footage.] Deturo was also convinced that the image on the video was a real, three-dimensional object flying at an extremely high altitude. I coincidentally received a report the same day as Edwards' sighting, August 27, 1995, of "fifteen military planes flying in formation" low over the town of Blanca, Colorado."

It also should be noted that the region underwent a dramatic sighting wave that entire Fall. The reports are too numerous to relate here in this forum.

heh in the "random out of left field" category, reading this thread I just remembered I had a dream last night/this morning that I saw a huge, HUGE cigar shape craft in the sky, and then some weird *scary* alien stuff that is ill defined.

How cool are epic dreams?!!

Carry on.
