Thanks TO,
I'll have to check that out. I also just found this person who posted a comment on Nick Redfern's site 'Guy Malone'. Here is his website. Now he's an interesting cat.
ROSWELL ALIENS, UFOs THE BIBLE and END TIMES by Guy Malone
With Nick's new book, there is going to be an ongoing debate about whether UFOs are 'demons' or not; a question which I find immediately annoying as the word 'demon' conveys almost no meaning other than it's emotional context.
How does calling an anomalous phenomenon 'demonic' give it any additional meaning? It still doesn't explain who made the craft, how they were made, where they come from, the physics of their technology, etc.
In one sense I agree with the idea that what we call the UFO phenomenon can be correlated with what people have previously ascribed to as 'demonic'. Also, the term 'demonic' carries with it a connotation of danger, deception, and brings to mind entities which do not have our best interests at heart. Once again, I think the perceived behavior of the UFO phenomenon fits this description.
All that said, it still does nothing to illuminate the problem. If someone thinks calling a flying saucer a 'demon' answers any questions, I would tend to disagree. Where is the demon flying saucer factory located?
Personally, my best theory for the UFO phenomenon is that it represents an introduction into our reality from some 'other' reality. What that 'other' reality 'is' remains a complete and utter mystery to me. If you want to say this 'other' reality is populated by 'demons', well that's all fine and well but it still doesn't provide any real answers about their origin, physics, or mode of operation.
After 8 years of George Bush it doesn't surprise me one bit that people with fanatical and irrational religious beliefs, even apocalyptically minded eschatologists, roam the halls of our government 'think tanks'.
So, is Nick's book simply documenting the fact that people in the government are irrational eschatologists who stick to outmoded and meaningless religious models from way beyond the dark ages of humanity?
While I find that deeply disturbing, it doesn't shock me. It also doesn't shed even the tiniest bit of light on the actual phenomenon itself. I don't know who or what the assholes are that are flying the UFOs, and whether you call them demons, leprechauns, angels, or aliens, none of those descriptions provides any real illumination about the phenomenon.
Generally speaking I don't think most people think nearly weirdly enough when it comes to UFOs. Whatever they are, I tend to think they are really, really, strange and, most likely, completely challenge our entire definition of reality itself.
Ok..so they are demons...now what good does that do us, other than make Steven Greer's head explode?
