We have scheduled the return of Robert Hastings, author of "UFOs and Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites" to The Paracast.

During this presentation, Hastings will explain why he wasn't present at the recent Citizens Hearing on Disclosure, and he'll update you on the evidence he's collected over the years involving UFOs seen in an around nuclear installations.

This episode will be recorded on Thursday, May 16, from 11 AM until 1 PM Pacific. So ask away.

do you think there may be a correlation with the propensity of ufos to be interested in nuclear launch installations AND nuclear power plants? and for that matter, power stations in general ? (like the recent sighting of a ufo near the delimara power plant in malta which runs on diesel.)

Gene, Chris and Robert,

1) Robert : in your book you discuss the eyewitness accounts who are vetted professional military service personnel in charge of nuclear weapons and are Veterans who have served their nations proudly! what methods do these UFO use in entering the wire and manipulating the firing mechanisms of the nuclear weapons such as tridents systems.

2) Robert : how many eyewitness accounts from other nations such as Russia, France and China of USO sightings while at sea?

3) Robert: how many accounts of military aircraft have been seen by UFO while "carrying nuclear warheads" during the Cold War?

4) What is your thoughts on these incidents by UFOs /? and the so called Worlds Governments covering up by suggested by some ufologists ? Also what do you say to none military debunkers and have you been approach Mr Bob Bigalow about your research?

More Falsehoods From The Notorious James Carlson

Over the past few years, a rather bizarre and disreputable individual, James T. Carlson, has polluted cyberspace with countless lies about me and my ex-military sources. He has accused me of fraud, of doctoring tape recordings, of misrepresenting my sources’ statements in my articles and book, and similar unfounded accusations.

Predictably, I suppose, just days ago I learned that Carlson now accuses me of perpetrating a hoax related to the dramatic events at F.E. Warren AFB on October 23, 2010, when the base temporarily lost the ability to communicate with (or launch) 50 of its ICBMs. According to two now-retired USAF missile maintenance technicians, a huge UFO was sighted that day by several technical teams in the field. Those revelations are discussed at length in the article at my website referenced earlier.

This kind of baseless allegation by Carlson is nothing new, given his long track record of blatant lies, gross distortions, and completely unsupported claims.

Carlson’s campaign of hostility against me commenced in 2008, shortly after I began discussing UFO activity at ICBM sites operated by Malmstrom AFB, Montana in the 1960s. Carlson’s father, Eric, had been a Minuteman missile launch officer at the base during that era and was on duty at Echo Flight on March 16, 1967, when UFOs were reported to be in the vicinity—at the very moment when all ten of the flight’s ICBMs mysteriously malfunctioned.

During several interviews, the elder Carlson has denied that any UFOs were present at the time of the incident, despite the tape-recorded confessions of the other launch officer on duty that day, now-retired Col. Walter Figel, who says that he did indeed receive a report from one of his guards of a “large, round object” hovering “directly over” one of the Echo ICBMs seconds before it dropped-off alert status and became unlaunchable. My taped conversations with Col. Figel may be heard at:

Despite these dramatic revelations, James Carlson still insists that his father, Eric, is telling the truth, and that no UFOs were present at Echo Flight when the missiles failed

Its an interesting "case" with lots of history

Question:

RH do your best to convince me that the UFO interactions with nuclear warheads arenot simply a military, para military or covert action by human agencies to test readiness or some other purpose. Make your best case to rule out humans as the culprits.

That's a FANTASTIC question.

That's a FANTASTIC question.

I dont need crystal balls to predict the answer to that one.

If what Mr Hastings has researched and reported is true (and im inclined to think it is), its a game changer in the context of being purely terrestrial in nature.

The scenario would then be some terrestrial agency has devices that can hover over a silo, and not just shut it down by remote, but also bypass the launch codes and set the missiles into launch mode.

This has allegedly happened at both Russian and US sites, any terrestrial agency with this ability would by default rule the world.
You could stop nuclear war and start nuclear war, you could make china fire at russia, or the US at china.

You could make a nation bomb itself, and why would such an agency telegraph such an ability as per the US and Russian alleged examples.

Like everything in this field there is no proof, but on the balance of probability im inclined to think a nonterrestrial source would A: have the ability and B: the motive for doing this and leaving witness's.

That's a FANTASTIC question.

Is there independent confirmation of multiple missiles going offline? Seeing how there are supposed to be independent of eachother's power supply/electronics etc, the chances of more than one going offline at once, quickly become astronomical - so for me, regardless of an actual UFO sighting, this is the part that says something strange may have gone on?

Regardless of the echo flight argument, Rendlesham, if true, seems to demonstrate UFO interest in nuclear sites.

Robert Hastings • Articles -- Yet Another Nuclear Missile Launch Officer Talks about UFOs at F.E. Warren AFB

Hastings writes: "One of those events occurred on October 4, 1982, near the Ukrainian town of Byelokoroviche, when a disc-shaped object apparently hovered over an Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile (IRBM) base for an extended period. At one point during the encounter, a number of nuclear missiles suddenly activated—without authorization from Moscow or any action being taken by the missile launch officers—and were preparing to launch."
Hastings report quotes a Russian newspaper article where a military eyewitness to an event there talks about what happened on October 4, 1982.

“It was unbelievable. Approximately one-and-a-half kilometers from us hovered an elliptical-shaped object,” the former rocketeer excitedly told Life. “The dimensions of the UFO shocked us—as large as a five-story house! Barely-visible lights flew up to the object. The guys [and I] were on our way to dinner when we all saw it! The UFO continued to hover, slowly moving to the left, as if drifting. One officer tried to get closer to it in a car but the UFO flew away. At this time all of the missile launchers malfunctioned. The UFO [also] blocked radio signal reception in the bunker. We heard only complete silence, which we could not understand, because this had never happened before. We were [later] told that the radio equipment was burnt!”
The Soviet missiles in this instance also appeared to launch, similar to what happened at the U.S. base.

We will see what his answer will be.

Have you, or any of the witnesses you've spoken to, ever been threatened or received strong suggestions to back off of the topic from the powers-that-be?

Do you have many cases in which the witnesses involved were physically affected in any manner? (I'm thinking here of the cases where "experiencers" displayed symptoms of radiation poisoning, the case where the guy had a burn mark on his body that was allegedly the pattern of some sort of exhaust grill, etc)

Having researched the phenomenon thoroughly, what is your best guess as to the agenda of the perpetrator(s)?

Have you gotten many reports of occurrences since writing your book? Is this still going on at the present or was it more of "a flap"?

Great shows lately guys, keep up the good work.

My question to Robert Hastings is why believes that these intelligent non-human entities have taken a interest in our long term survival and why he contends that these beings are occasionally disrupting nukes in order to send a message to world leaders about the threat of nukes to the future of the human race? I guess in short form, why would these beings care about the going on's of a primitive people.
cheers

1) Did knowledge of past incursions at nuclear sites influence counter intelligence in the decision to interview and pursue Paul Bennowitz in New Mexico as described in Greg Bishop's book Project Beta?

2) Have there been cases of missing fuel, cores, fissionable material or broken arrows associated with UFO incursions at nuclear facilities anywhere in the world, or has damage been limited to control panels, clock mechanisms and computers?

While i hope Mr Hastings will give us his answer to this one, i'll toss in my own 2 cents worth too

When you look at our planet from orbit, and compare it to all the lifeless rocks that we share a space with, It strikes me as nothing short of logical to try and preserve it.

Our own space travellers get hit with this imperative as a natural reaction

When you're finally up at the moon looking back on earth, all those differences and nationalistic traits are pretty well going to blend, and you're going to get a concept that maybe this really is one world and why the hell can't we learn to live together like decent people.
— Frank Borman, Apollo 8,

It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth. I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth. I didn't feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.
— Neil Armstrong
This planet is not terra firma. It is a delicate flower and it must be cared for. It's lonely. It's small. It's isolated, and there is no resupply. And we are mistreating it. Clearly, the highest loyalty we should have is not to our own country or our own religion or our hometown or even to ourselves. It should be to, number two, the family of man, and number one, the planet at large. This is our home, and this is all we've got.
— Scott Carpenter, Mecury 7 astronaut

It truly is an oasis—and we don't take very good care of it. I think the elevation of that awareness is a real contribution to saving the Earth.
— Dave Scott, Apollo 9 & 15

It makes perfect sense to me that ET visitors would feel the very same when viewing our beautiful planet

And in the context of the transbiological scenario, The earth is a source of a valuable renewable resource, MAD would be the end of that resource.

Plants have broader uses than as just food and a genetic reservoir. Increasingly, rainforest plants, and to a lesser extent rainforest animals, are the source of compounds useful for medicinal purposes.

The rainforest has been called the ultimate chemical laboratory with each rainforest species experimenting with various chemical defenses to ensure survival in the harsh world of natural selection. They have been synthesizing these compounds for millions of years to protect against predators, infection, pests, and disease. This makes rainforest species an excellent reservoir of medicines and chemical templates with which researchers can create new drugs.

Saving Rainforests with Medicinal Plants

We ourselves are constantly finding new genetic "products" all the time, and finding new uses for those products in parallel.
The destruction of such a valuable manufactoring plant doesnt serve anyone well
