Good summary. Thanks man.
The
Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas is a movie theater where trendy hipster kids go to revel in whatever is the latest kitch fad (currently Legos and air-sex) while they drink beer.
Rather than crying for Big Daddy government to spank the naughty children who don't follow the rules like you do, use the awesome power of publicity and social ostracism to your advantage.
Get off your azz and organize an educational event. Show up at any venue where Dryer appears with educational materials and recruit people to the cause of REAL Bigfoot research.
Whilst there is some humor to be found in Bigfootology, it is easy to overlook the importance of how an empirical explanation could benefit all facets of the "paranormal".
It is not my fault that people do not realise how much of a "high stakes" game we are dealing with, after all ridicule has and will continue to be a tool used by all sides, like I said before "taking the piss" is the easy part, but I refuse to accept that all reports are made by "liars" or "hoaxers", yet I do not believe in a physical Bigfoot.
There are extremely clever people who are working to gain a better understanding of how the human mind functions and reacts, and knowingly or not they will, in my opinion eventually be able to explain Bigfoot and other sightings.
The people I am talking about are scientists like "Michael A. Persinger" (God Helmet).
The point I am making is that there is actually "REAL" research and investigation into these matters, but not enough for my liking, because I have over the years witnessed the detrimental effect that the "paranormal" can have on people, especially "possessions", "Exorcisms" and "abductions".
In short mocking the "afflicted" is not a sign of strength, intelligence or skill, and although it may not seem immediately obvious, I genuinely believe that "haoxing" and "lying" are directly harming vulnerable people, or at the very least their "state of mind".
