New species of human?

Saw this on BBC news site. Although not strictly cryptozoology, this story does mention that the traditional view of a linear ancestry for homosapiens-sapiens may be incorrect.

For those interested in ancient humans etc, this is worth a look.

I think this is an interesting subject. I have been following the developements of transhumanism. This ties in with an ancient theory that mankind was tampered with genetically and was one reason given for the flood as a kind of purging the corrupted genetic pool.

In this case you might find some very odd fossils as a result.Giants being one of those things.

Take this to the present and we have transhumanism. Ever wonder exacly what could be happening at Dulce? I have a good idea that this is a lot of it. Sound like sci fi? It's happening now. We are trying to develop people with keener senses and strength and even adding animal DNA into human emryos.The University Of Arizona is working on adding a spiritual dimension into this lineup...seriously. The question begs to be asked will a transhuman have a soul?

You can bet your bottom dollar if the US military thinks it could bio-engineer a better soldier, It probably would. I know this is not a new idea at all but we really are getting closer to the ability to almost program an embryo to produce certain results.

I think the consensus on the existence of an underground base at Dulce is that all the tales of horrific mutants etc are pure fantasy. I am not sure that there is no base at all however. When you have a look at the known underground bases, things like the English/French channel tunnel, and factor in the fact that putting hardened bunker-type bases well underground makes sense against a nuclear threat, I think there is little reason to doubt there are some substantial bases out there.
The one problem with some of that is I wonder how difficult it might be to keep the construction of such bases a secret, considering how much private work would be required to complete and maintain such places. People do talk.

I have to wonder about Horn's objectivity and the reliability of his statements and conclusions

My suggestion. Listen to the transhumanist humanists and then listen to Mr. Horn. They both say the same things only give different reasons for it.
I'm not saying the hypothesis in that book is totally on base. Neither do I agree with the idea that transhumanist technology will make better men, but my definition of a better man may be different than someone else. The science behind this is happening now and it is being supported worldwide.



Goggsmackay, I believe that the US is involved in making a super soldier and this is the premise behind the extensive genetic engineering we are engaged in.Soldiers who never sleep and are super strong.Dulce may or may not be involved. I have a suspicion that it could be.I watched a video not long ago that was interesting. In that video a person who claimed to be a discharged soldier was in drug therapy to induce some kind of an improved communication with soldiers in the field.She had the ability to see the battlefield via special conditioning and could give instructions to the troops.She was selected based on a test to determine her gifts in this area.......now IF this is happening then what else is going on?

The truth is that we were making I inroads into advanced genetics a long time ago, who knows where it has gone now.
