May 20, 2012-The Aztec Incident: Recovery at Hart Canyon

Free episodes:

It's a blockbuster of a different sort, one that has other implications.

As to the Ramseys, understand that they aren't in it for the money. If their estimates of what they spent, and the time they put into this venture are accurate, selling those books at $500 a copy would barely cover their expenses. It's $24.95 a copy, with a 1,100 copy print run.

And it doesn't seem they did it for glory, and there's no publicity machine surrounding efforts to promote the book. They've kept it very low key. They believe in their material, you don't. But, as with Roswell, these are cases that will never, ever be resolved unless there is some future revelation that it was ET, or secret weapons, or both all along for loads of UFO sightings. Or you accept the theory that both cases aren't worth bothering with.

I don't think Randall would want to get involved. He's too busy with his Roswell "Dream Team" these days to sort out that affair.

Yeah, I'd agree. It looks like a massive undertaking in that thousands of dollars and countless man hours of research would need to be employed, like the Ramsey's did with Aztec. Right now, from what I can see Harry Drew is the only one seriously looking into the Kingman events and, like Lance is quick to point out, Drew has a preconception that all the Kingman events occurred as-stated (UFO's crashing into mountains and all that). I'm sure any serious or blatant flaws in the Kingman crash story(ies) will be ignored by Drew in his book/documentary. It's too bad because such counter arguments do need to be addressed to pose a good argument for such events.

Maybe you could have Harry on the show and talk about what he's found out about Kingman, and offer a few counter-points, too?

I read Randle's piece. But it's not fair to call someone stupid because they reach different conclusions than you. That's out of line. The Ramseys are really nice people and don't deserve such attacks. Let's try to keep this discussion from degenerating.

Gene,

Seeming sincere is not the same as BEING sincere.

It's like writing a book about Hitler's life and focusing on his artistic abilities and his love of animals.

Ramsey KNEW that Reed was a lousy witness and deliberately hid this from his readers.

Surely you don't condone that?

Lance
Too bad this couldn't have been presented to the Ramseys during the interview. Surely they must have a response.
