Could this be the END of RELIGIONS as we know them ?

Brief summary of findings…

The stories about gods and God from the ancient Middle East, including Egypt, all came from the same non-divine source.

The story of Enki (as related by Sitchin) is not about an encounter with aliens.

Ancient Creation accounts all came from the same non-divine origin.

The Hebrew, Christian, and Muslim perceptions of GOD also came from this same source.

The story of Atlantis and the biblical story of Creation came from the same non-divine source.

Moses held in his hands this non-divine source - being one of the ‘tablets of stone’.

Babylonian and Mesopotamian accounts called this same stone the ‘tablet of destiny’.

Documented in the Old Testament, Ezekiel and Daniel’s “visions” came from this same non-divine source.

In Revelation (NT) John’s “visions” also came from the same non-divine source.

The story by Ezekiel about seeing “Wheels within Wheels” is not about seeing an alien spaceship.

In referring to “The Lamb (of God)” John was not referring to Jesus.

John documents being shown the source and origin of all these things.
He called it ‘A book with seven seals, written on the backside and the inside’.

Egyptian scribes also held this object. They depicted and called it the ‘RA-Disk’.

Hindu tradition documents this same object as ‘the Egg of Brahma’.

Biblical Gospel scholars note a missing document (called the “Q”) that was the original source for some of the New Testament stories.

Mormon prophet, Joseph Smith, documented holding ‘artefacts’, and a mid 1800s picture shows him holding the case which held a specific ‘seer stone’.

.
The ‘tablet of stone’ held by Moses, the Sumerian ‘tablet of destiny’, the Hindu ‘the Egg of Brahma’, John’s ‘book’, the Egyptian ‘ra-disk’, the ‘Q’, and Smith’s ‘seer stone’ all refer to the same non-divine object.

In 1998 the Australian researcher Ronald Pegg identified this non-divine object, conducted investigations, and subsequently found the basis for all the above religious subject matter not to be of a divine origin.

There is now proof revealing that there is no GOD, and that this religiously perceived GOD did not create the earth 6,000 years ago.

2 videos show from where much of the above subject matter originated.

Religion can push people to do some amazing things. It can also do the opposite. Nothing wrong with believing. Plenty wrong with preaching from both sides of the fence.

'Motivation' is a key word here, and 'believe' has an effect, albeit the more people believe in something, the more powerful it becomes.Collective Unconsciousness.Carl Jung seriously nailed it.

Just wanted to say three things about this:

1-Nothing will be "the end of all religions".

2-There is now proof revealing that there is no GOD

I don't see any way that could ever be proved.

3-Nothing from that list is remotely new or surprising to most people here I'm sure.

I didn't watch the video but I did read the website...

So all belief systems in the world are based entirely upon a time traveller going back and showing off a certain dvd/cd-rom to the local populations?

Hmmm:confused:

Well ...aside from the logical fallacy of "proving a negative" ...

You have to ask yourself if human concepts of god are reasonable. Is it reasonable to assume that human beings can comprehend things that are outside of their data set? I don't think so. A subset cannot comprehend a super set. It simply cannot. You cannot describe the entire alphabet for example by using only a handful of the characters. Human beings are locked into a tiny sliver of time and space. If we last until our sun burns out we will still only have occupied an infinitesimal portion of time and space. We simply don't have access to the data to make educated guesses at the origin of the universe or its originator (if such a thing exists). If we did have access to the data (the entire universe which includes all space and time) we don't have the capacity or time to process it. Human concepts of god are dependent on "revealed knowledge". It is a proven fact that "revealed knowledge" is highly unreliable and contradictory generating 1000s of gods and religions throughout human history. It is therefore pretty worthless information. So while there may be some "supreme being" of some sort it is logically impossible for a human being to comprehend it in any manner whatsoever. Certainly the stories of supreme beings with human passions and desires (such as jealously, love, hate, etc.) are clearly fiction generated by human minds. At least that is how it shakes out for me. I believed the Christian mythos for over 30 years before I finally mustered up the courage or whatever to be honest with myself about the whole business and escaped it.

Cough! Sputter! Gasp! Good grief. Accepting that must take some measure of ... faith I imagine.

Interesting way to try and sell an e-book. Whether the time travelers used a Mac or a PC, it surely would have had to have a long battery life.

Richard Shaver had this image of "rock books" years ago, which meant 3D fare contained in crystalline materials. You could, I suppose, extrapolate this to be some form of Flash drive, where all sorts of digital content might be stored.

In any case, Apple's iPad will have a 10-hour useful battery life, but a standby life of close to a month. Battery technology a few hundred years into the future might expand the timeframe on a comparable device to years or decades.

David, may God rest his soul, banned the bye bye atheists guy in a heartbeat. One could justify the same thing here. My guess is this is the author trolling for CD sales, but it does provide a certain entertainment value. Choice is with you guys. I am your servant.

At this very moment the animated banner ad at the bottom of this screen is encouraging Christians to "VISIT ISRAEL - YOU'LL NEVER BE THE SAME."
What wonderful irony.

update- more irony
OK, the advertising must be context sensitive. It's the next day now and the banner advertisement is for Mormon.com and the small link add is "Publish a Christian Book." You've got to love technology generated coincidence.

I have to say...(Shaking head)....pretty silly stuff! But it might be al lot better than the silliness of the religious comic books we have 2day!

Or indeed the Left Behind series ... ye gods ... religious people and religion is sooo childish. When will people grow up?? Oh bugger I'll probably go to hell now ... oh wait ... it doesn't exist. Oh well then ... :D

The silliness that is what we have 2day, concerning anything religious IS laughable, and it is true that hell, as a place of fiery fate, does NOT in fact exist, there IS the hell of not being able to fly, or otherwise ascend to the rightful place that is for any soul who would aim so high after death. There is a Raven that lives close by me, and having a broken wing, will NEVER know the wonderful mating dance Ravens do in the sky, or for that matter, simply just be able to fly to the lake that's not far off, "As a crow flies". That Raven lives in hell, each night as he (or she) CLIMBS the tilted tree they have HAD to choose to roost in, and each morning as they hop down. Where one mans hell may be another mans paradise, I think there is a mental hell we will ALL come to know if we don't find out just HOW to exist on that next plane of existance...hence I teach the stuff to all those seeking TRUTH.

Well Wynne, I HOPE you are taking care of that unfortunate Raven . They are the messengers of Odin after all.....
