Interesting. Not sure that the ancients would use CD's more inclined to believe in using crystals and rocks - more robust. Reading the structures as some sort of binary language and playing them back.

Wow ....
Delusion to the next level, even Hoagland (one of my favourites professional delusionists) would not have come up with this one ! I mean .... Check the videos !

In all the crazy and sometime fascinating tales we get in our area of research, those which arise from true nuttiness rather than dishonesty are so much tastier.
This one requires a CO(S)MIC CLEARANCE - FOR WATERING EYES ONLY

Delusion to the next level, even Hoagland (one of my favourites professional delusionists) would not have come up with this one !

Oh, you are so mean! How dare you question an unsupported statement like that? You are apparently supposed to say something like "Cool! What was she wearing!" or in this case, "Cool, Pentium or Intel?"

Yes because they clearly had the capacity to manufacture and press CDs by hand in ancient Egypt, just like we do today.

Oh wait, NO.

Yes because they clearly had the capacity to manufacture and press CDs by hand in ancient Egypt, just like we do today.

Dude! You are so unreasonable. If they can build the pyramids, invent eye-liner, and wear those big hats at the same time why couldn't they spare a few thousand slaves to press CDs? "Get your own straw bitches and press me some real gangsta CDs, chop, chop!" said Pharaoh. That's bound to be in the book of Heineken in the Old, Old, Old Testament somewhere.

Jeez, what was that?! Is it a genius, straight-faced spoof of the crazy bullshit people believe about history?

Is it just crazy bullshit?!

It's so hard to tell these days...

It's probably best not to think about it, it'll only hurt more...

I'm pretty familiar with the Bible and for the life of me I can't think of what that might be. Can you give a reference? Chapter and verse would be nice.

Wow ... my god. I've seen some crap in my time but this one definitely takes the biscuit. My jaw literally has dropped several inches watching the first of the two videos mentioned above. I literally cannot believe my eyes. I cannot believe that anyone firstly would think this up, sit down and make a video about this, and think other people would think it was not total nonsense.

If there were awards for the total butt-munch video of the year, I think that either of these would get it hands down (and I'm only on the first one still but I had to reply to this thread since I still can't believe what I'm seeing).

I think I may go away now, sit in a room somewhere nice and quiet and scream and bounce off the walls for a while. That should make me feel better. Ye gods ...

[and if anyone is insulted by this post ... shame on you :p]

[just putting my brain back into my head ... this has to be a joke?? surely??? ... oh and for some reason I can't access the first page of this thread so if it is a joke, and some one has already said so then please forgive me ;). I may come back to this thread later on if and when I get the blessed thing to work ...]

He is the poster of the Youtube video. He is probably also the only person on the Web talking about such crap. He probably is the owner of the Website and the Guy speaking on the Videos. The speaker is Australian and your man Eddy is Australlian!!! Well do i need to say anymore?

Obviously a joke but one that takes itself a bit too seriously. Much of the humor is pretty dry. I got bored and stopped watching about halfway through.

I just want to say that I fully support anyones right to make whatever asinine interpretation of whatever "holy text" they care to make. Praise Shockley! Glory be!

Oscii-later!

Obviously a joke but one that takes itself a bit too seriously. Much of the humor is pretty dry. I got bored and stopped watching about halfway through.

I just started giggling insanely after a while. I just couldn't believe it could be true ... and I'm not entirely sure it is or ... isn't.

If it is supposedly humorous then it has failed miserably. I can spot irony or sarcasm or whatever a mile off ... but if it is far too dry then the humour just doesn't surface and you just can't tell if its being funny or not. Its a bit like that prog I heard in which Adam Gorightly was outing Greg Bishop as a CIA man. I see now its a joke but if you were to listen to it you just wouldn't have a clue that him and his guest were being "humorous". There is just nothing there to pick up on.

And Australians aren't funny anyway ... except for Paul Hogan ... and that sidekick of his ... the really dumb one in his old tv series :D.

Their computers were powered by the Anubis chips of course.... :) and for tech support they called the Atlantis Help Desk...
