Tonight, June 17th, a legend resurfaces on DMR after a very mysterious 15 YEAR disappearance! Lars Hansson got in touch with me this past week and has agreed to appear on DMR to dis on a whole lot of topics.

For those of you who are not familar with Lars, among other things he (back in the day) banged around Iraq when Saddam was still in power, to get the inside story of what was going on over there. He investigated the arms shippments to Iran in exchange for American hostages, went to Central America to investigate the Contra story, and was the man behind the "Limo SS Driver who may have fired the fatal shot into JFK." (other names with this story were John Lear, Bill Cooper, Bo Gritz, Gordon Novel, Bob Lazar, Gene Huff and it goes on and on!)

In the late 80's (when I first met him) he was in Las Vegas with John Lear and ended up writing the famous and infamous

UFO's, Aliens and "Ex"-intelligence Agents: Who's Fooling Whom. You can read more on that by going to http://www.ufomind.com/area51/people/lear/hansson.html

For what it is worth, I believe this will be a real barn burner tonight ... Only on Dark Matters Radio.

Oh Hell Yeah!

This is gonna be a good'un.

Hey Don, could you please ask him about the 'gravity phone' that Lazar later denied existing? I'd like to hear Larrs take on that.

('ll resubmit this question through the email in case you don't see this before the show)

Catch you on the Airwaves.

Edit:

The show is still running as of this post, but Don - you gotta do another show with Mr Hansson. This is brilliant.

*I've been getting as much graphics practice as I can, so here is a promo/pic I made for what is hopefully the first in the series your do with Mr Hannsson:

(...I know. I should come out of retirement and get a job using MS Paint professionally Right? Maybe then the Dear Leader's Death Panels will see my usefulness and allow me an aspririn for my next heart attack. Such decadence. :) )

I've been reading "UFO's, Aliens and "Ex"-intelligence Agents: Who's Fooling Whom." ... all I can say this is pretty damning stuff. This serves a good companion to your outstanding Bill Cooper episode. I've heard Lear brag about gun running on at least one recorded interview so it seems entirely believable. Hopefully I'll get a chance to listen that episode on the drive home.

Howdy all. Yes, as I told Lars last eve we will do a part 2 very soon. That entire time period was an incredible period ... of time. A whole lot was going on then and it is pretty hard to jam it all into a 2 hour time period.

Well, folks, I'm more than a little rusty at all this, but I am very pleased that you enjoyed the show. You can certainly thank Don for that, and not me, since he has been my most genuine supporter over all these years, particularly in refuting all the ongoing nonsense that mainly Cooper, and Lear to a lesser degree, have been spewing over the years. Don's original posting of my Affidavit (Life-Insurance policy, actually) on the Net over a decade ago ( I had no clue how, frankly) has probably been the major factor in my being alive at all to do the show now. Had he not prodded me just a little, it might well have been another five years before I surfaced again.

Mind you, as I said on the show, it is NOT fear that has kept me silent, but maybe more a sense of futility, preaching to the choir and all that, as I have viewed the extreme downward turn of America's fortunes, Americans' extreme lack of awareness and news reporting in general in all this time. I was certainly not the greatest journalist out there myself by a long shot when I did "scribble," but I always did my very best under very trying circumstances to dig out the truth as well as I could, even when it wasn't flattering about myself, either.

Anyway, I'll leave it to Don as far as any repeat performances, which he might want to title "Radical Ends Sabbatical"... Be assured, I still DO have a helluva lot of old and new material that ought to see the light of day. And yes, Virginia, there IS a sequel to "Who's Fooling Whom" in the works. And this one is actually WELL-written, unlike the first...

All my best, Lars

P.S. Of course, I LOVE the picture. Already printed out and suitable for framing. But next time, I get to have the beer, OK?

Can there be any doubt that anything both Cooper and Lear have put out there is absolute disinformation aimed at sewing confusion and distraction? It calls into question much of what gets batted around in Ufology since so much of what Lear and Cooper have 'leaked' (and we have include Doty and Moore in that club) over the years has ingrained itself into the 'meta-story' that gets told and retold.

And b.t.w. I find your document to be about 10 times more scarier and disturbing than any ghost story of alien abduction account I've heard.

When even 'guys' born in the 80ties like me think they are old... ;) Thank you for the great show !

If you missed Lar's return appearance last eve (June 28th) I heartily recommend you head on over to the archives later today and give it a listen. I believe (especially the 2nd hour) that this was one of the top shows. We hit a lot of areas, not to mention the JFK assassination material. For example, did you know that Lars had a "one on one" with Marina Oswald? Oh yea, this is a show you will want to catch.

This evening (June 29th) Paul Kimball is joining me and God only knows what areas we are gonna hit. Join in and in the meantime I'll see you on the radio.

I was listening to the earlier Lars Hansson interview on the weekend. It caught my attention enough for a couple of plays and beat listening to the aftermath of England's 'defenceless' defeat to Germany.

Usually, politics pisses me off so political conspiracy is not something that gets much attention. Despite this, I got caught up in the interview. JFK remains interesting. The CIA shenanigans are always fascinating, but frustrating too. I made a deliberate decision to avoid the political stuff, but this interview had me thinking about the drugs trade and our business in Afghanistan all day.

I read an article a couple of years ago (it was in a UK broadsheet like The Guardian) about an American guy in Afghan who was offering big US $ checks to Afghani opium farmers if they'd burn their crops. At first a few dozen burned the crops, received the checks and cashed them in. Word got around. More farmers burned/destroyed their crops and faced the consequences of the Taliban on the expectation of cashing one of the American guy's checks. The US gentleman claimed or implied that he was US Govt sanctioned and had millions in the pot. The checks started to bounce. Farmers had no crops, no cash and a pissed off Taliban.

This account made more sense in the context of the interview. The actions of the US gentleman would ensure distrust of US policy and coerce the opium farmers to think 'better the devil you know.' They'd trust the Taliban before an American. In this sense, the early cash payments could have been a 'loss leader' by CIA interests to perpetuate the farming of opium. Whichever US agency/interest financed the original payments, they probably knew that spending a few million and then bouncing checks would destabilise trust. Ultimately, the crops would and have continued.

If the CIA or any other interests wanted the drugs trade to continue...this kind of exercise would be ideal.
