Even More Doubt About The Polio Vax

I started digging into the claim that the polio vax had "irradicated polio", and found the same misleading strategies that were used for COVID, including:

• Bias created by conflicts of interest.
• Numbers based on unverified "cases".
• Ignoring polio vaccine injuries and deaths.
• Date ranges that resulted in biased results.
• The inclusion of cases with little or no symptoms.
• Cases where the polio vaccine actually caused polio.
• Misdiagnosing other causes with similar symptoms as "polio"
• Not accounting for mutations of the polio virus over time.
• Not including regions where the incidence of polio increased.
• Ignoring that poilio was never actually "erradicated".
• Leaps in logic backed by dubious statistical analysis.
• Changes in the definition of polio.

The "New Normal" Already Happened

The more I dig into the vaccine story, the more it looks like the "New Normal" actually happened back in the 50s — some might ague even before that. Society has become so accustomed to being routinely vaxxed, that it simply doesn't question it — and anyone who does is branded a heretic. Essentially, we've all been living under a vax-cult delusion for over two centuries. Upon closer examination, the greatest scientific discovery of medicine looks increasingly like smoke and mirrors.

Honestly, these conspiracy posts about vaccines, Fauci, and a bunch of other stuff are utterly ridiculous. The internet is the world's biggest rumor mill. If you're really interested in accurate information about scientific research and data, there are a wealth of vettted research papers and documents one can refer too. It takes time and effort to read them and familiarize yourselves with the language and concepts of actual science. Are there spurious research papers? Sure. But the preponderance of scientific research is done by honest, serious, dedicated professionals who spend their lives learning and honing their research skills. But thanks to the anti-intellectual, anti-science administration these people are vilified and now Pulic Enemy No. 2, after the press designated Public Enemy No.1. But if you're so suspicious and paranoid that nothing seems legit to you except the postings of "Q" etc., then it's your choice. If you don't want to get / believe in vaccines, then don't. I've waded through enough of this conspiracy stuff to come to the conclusion that much of it is inane, but hey that's what works for me. I'm old so I don't care if anyone thinks I'm full of it. Don't mean to insult anyone, trying to wake y'all up and stop wasting your precious life down these dead end rabbit holes.

No kidding. Vaccines are at the core of medical, scientific history. Along with germ theory and antibiotics they mark a major revolution forward keeping people alive.

Trying to make the argument that vaccines are a cult is entirely ridiculous on the face of it. If it wasn't for these early scientists who worked hard to discover cures and preventions for diseases people would still be dying from these basic diseases.

I find the conspiracy attempts to redefine this rich history with false science to be patently pathetic, and is ultimately dangerous. All conspiracies have their own cult followers and preachers, from Pizzagate to the Heaven's Gate cult. Make no mistake about it, these false beliefs systems are ultimately lethal. Getting your dose of reality from Facebook or Alex Jones is just not healthy.

Yes well — in case you haven't been following, vaccines have also contributed to millions of injuries and deaths — some in ways too horrible for me to post here. And yes — I've already been through all the relevant counterpoint, virtually none of which is either relevant or accurate when looked at objectively.

However — just show me one person who was "saved by a vaccine" — snached from the jaws of certain death by Big Pharma, and I'll concede total defeat. But you can't. Nobody can. Because that's not how vaccines even work — which just proves using real science, that whenever you hear "vaccines saved" or "vaccines prevented", it's just a marketing slogan — a claim with zero direct evidence — more MSM lies and propaganda.

You either made that up — or someone is really bad at doing math. Even biased Google AI will tell you that over 13,000 people have received vaccine injury compensation in the USA alone. The Vaccine Injury Reporting Program has colleceted over 2 million reports, which is only a small percentage of the actual number that go unreported.

However people who have no real problems to worry about can indulge themselves by going down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theory.

• The resulting inflation from printing trillions to pay for all that.

If you don't care about any of that — be happy caring about bigger problems — like the plight of the Antarctic Penguin. I'm pretty sure they always need help. After all, all that CO2 is melting all their ice. Then what?

Sorry Randall I meant actual deaths not made up facts to fit a theory. You continue down your rabbit hole and when you get to the bottom you will find there is another to go down. I for one am glad that I have my Polio. Measles and Chicken pox vaccination along with my COVID vaccination. I also believe any parent who denying their children vaccination should be arrested for child abuse and serve a minimum of twenty years in prison. My figures come from the world health organisation which I trust more than rabbit holes.

The fact is multiple children now have died in North America from measles because they were not vaccinated. These are the first reported deaths from something that could have been prevented by vaccination in over a decade. I lay that at the feet of the anti-vaxxer cult.

It is shameful that in first world countries we have as many as 40-50 deaths of children that could have been prevented if it wasn't for wacko believe systems that encourage parents not to vaccinate their children.

Percentages are themselves misleading. Remember the "every life counts" vax rhetoric as an excuse to push madates? Theoretically, if they apply that logic to themselves — nobody should have been allowed to be vaxxed, or anyone pushing it would be guilty of an offence.

Measels are another red herring. Vaxxers shouln't forget that correlation doesn't equal causation — especially for prevention, because one of key factors in determining causation, is that the cause has to preceded the effect. Clearly we see that the decline in measels clearly preceded the arrival of the vaccine.
