I'm well behind on my Paracasts and trying to catch up, so I just heard this one yesterday. I must say, I didn't see anything like this guest coming, but it was a great show. I'm a big fan of history, so it was really fascinating hearing the personal accounts. But anyway, nice one!

They're definitely real, just not in the sense of being mysterious weird things. I also remember hearing about them in the 90s and being all curious. Things were so much more mysterious before the power of the Internet. (At least, it was the 90s for me.)

I suppose that is the case. I was thinking more along the lines of the extent being more than the obvious. And with so many variables, it seems some good could come from assorted greed.
