The Titor Art Bell shows were some of his best, probably because time travel was one of Art's fav subjects - mine too. I actually do not know if this story was ever proved a hoax even though many probably just assumed so. There was something about the computer part that Titor claimed to be going back to retrieve that had some people really interested for a technical reason. I seem to remember it being talked about a great deal, as if it somehow could prove the story was real. As I said, I haven't heard anyone mention it in a long time but it sure was a great story, real or not!
 
When Art was doing C2C back in the 90's his mantra was often that he was "looking for the truth." But then he would pursue one of these bogus and BS stories. John Titor, Dr. Johnathan Reid, Ed Dames who NEVER did get one right but Art would keep bring him back and back.

Here is what was originally an episode of one of my UFOs Tonite! shows that I wrapped into a DMR with Dwight Schultz, TV Producer Russ Estes, and myself when we tried to warn Bell about an absolute lunatic (and sexual pervert) that he was going to have on C2C and he accused us of having an agenda! That is .. if you are interested.

:D The possibilities are endless - maybe Hoax Hunter is John Titor. We will have to wait for Art Bell to spill the beans. ;)

That was a great episode Don. The UFO field could use a few more researchers like the late Russ Estes.
