I didn't find the prequels as bad as many other fans, though they were not as exciting to me as the first 3 movies.

I revisited the prequels with my Son a few months back Goggs and I agree they are not as bad as some folk say. I liked them better this time round - not a patch on the originals however. (although Jedi has some downpoints EWOKS!!!)

Great film and agree easy plot. Lets hope they make a Dr Who movie and they include a bentwaters theme in the movie.

Episode 7 was a small film. It is basically a retelling of A New Hope. Its scope is limited and it does not in any way eclipse the films that came before it. I am not one of the people that despise the prequels and I still feel that Revenge of the Sith is an incredible film. In my opinion it is much better than Return of the Jedi and has a much grander scope than episode 7. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed episode 7 and cannot wait for what is coming down the pike!

Its about a theory that jar jar binks was a sith lord from the start. Lol i know i know but this has some strong points. For example when i first watched starwars the phantom menace, i couldnt help but realize jar jar doing weird jedi things to other characters in the film, his voice timed perfectly with that black captain guy when they were stranded on naboo. His drunkin style of jediship lol. Anyways look into it. Jar jar was suppose to be the greates villlain ever but people complained and lucus frusterated he lost control of his creation was forced to change the script. Hence the wierd throw in of darth turanus, ei dracula lol. Read it i promise you lucas had something huge planned for jar jar.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, portrays the awakening of the light side of the Force. Specifically, the Cosmic Force stirs within ordinary individuals like Rey to rise up and counter the mounting threat and dark influence of the First Order and Kylo Ren.

There are unwitting Dark Side sympathizers here — scared citizens who see the Empire ( The PTB here ) as "doing the right thing" and bought into propagandist marketing slogans like "Safe & Effective" — who see The Resistance ( The Freedom Movement ) as the enemy, and those in it as second-class citizens, unworthy of participating in society — who like you would have seen them put out on the street — jobless and homeless.

If you do nothing else now, defect. It has nothing to do with being a Democrat or a Republican or any other political party. I have always been on the side of light — and over time have voted for several different parties. Now it's time for you to awaken too.

My problem with Star wars always was that I could not identify or have empathy for the characters as I could in Star Trek.

To me they're both great sci-fi, but you're not alone. Some folks have a hard time with all the Muppets in Star Wars, but if you can get past that and follow the story line, there are some good spin-offs on TV that have barely any weirdo creatures at all e.g. Andor

I didn't like the whole Discovery Strange new worlds Star Trek thing. I suppose that's down to age.

I watched and enjoyed them, but the SNL skit really satires the way the Star Trek Universe has gone ( woke ).
I won't even try watching the new one featuring Colbert after his bit with the dancing syringes — maybe you'd like it though
