Snow in Sedona

urland

Paranormal Novice
Listening to After the Paracast this evening Chris stated that 6 inches of snow where he is at was "freaky" weather. I'd say it's very uncommon rather than freaky. I've lived in Flagstaff for 35 years and usually the snow level doesn't drop down that far but it does happen once in awhile. Enjoy that snow in Sedona! :D I'm sure it started to melt big-time today.

Cheers!

The Sedona snow is the result of global warming. Sadly, humans are the cause. But DON"T WORRY! If we give LOTS of money (green) to the right people and/or organizations it will stop. ;):p:rolleyes:

Chris, Sedonians are exhaling WAY TOO MUCH CO2. Please limit yourselves to one breath per minute to help save the planet, the whales and polar bears. Thank You!

Yabut, this past New Year's snowfall was the most I've seen since moving to AZ in 2004. I lived in Sedona for 5 years and in 2009 I moved down in the Verde Valley which is 1000 feet lower than Sedona.
I think it is accurate to say that this was a very unusual snow storm for below the rim of the Colorado Plateau.

I have lived in the Verde Valley before and have some relatives that lived in that area/Flagstaff. It has always snowed there, with varying levels of snowfall. I am in in Kingman now. It took a full five days for our accumulation to melt. Yes, the weather is changing. Our monsoon storms seem to be heavier too.
