Whatever is operating in the earth's atmosphere must have been pissed off when they started detonating atomic devices high in the atmosphere. (Exoatmospheric testing refers to nuclear tests conducted above the atmosphere. The test devices are lifted on rockets. Theses high altitude nuclear explosions can generate an electromagnetic pulse (EMP), and charged particles resulting from the blast can cross hemispheres to create an auroral display).

Since we're on the topic, watch "Countdown to Zero".
Its a very informative documentary and gives several examples of how close we have come to actually having a nuclear holocaust.
 
The absolute horror of it all is that we are in a perpetual nuclear holocaust that is being ignored. Fukushima continues to rage on now at 20 times the radiation levels produced by the Hiroshima bomb! Radiation readings are now exceeding 10 sieverts per hour in areas at the plant! Where are the damn aliens when you need them?
 
Very true T.O. yet we worry about where in the world is Paris Hilton or if Oprah is coming back. I was watching the "news" the other night. They led with this teaser " Which foods are better for your waist line?" Really? That's news? Walter Cronkite must be spinning in his grave.
 
How true. The Fukushima nightmare is out of control. A terrible tragedy for the entire world.
