reality dream or what?

I been gone for a while. My 5th is well and settled in to our family.
I wanted to ask about something a woman I see at the center where I work claims.
she is insistent that it was real. She recalls clearly events unfolding that simply did not happen. she claims she saw news stories on TV in the paper online that stated that the united states abandoned south Korea. that the north over ran the south that no one lifted a finger to stop it. that there was an attitude that the south had done something to cause commendation. that again the north and china had warned any interference and nukes would fly. It is very detailed. she acts with some level of surprise that no one else knows all this "did you not read it online? "I don't know what to make of this...any ideas are welcome..

Hey Rikki,
Great to hear from you and great no.5 is all good. Surely no more kids? Are you trying to beat the Waltons! !

This tale sounds to me like cases of people reporting having visions/dreams/experience's in alternate time lines of this Earth or even alternate universes (from the infinite universes theory).
I happen to support the theory of infinite universes as I think every time anyone makes a decision, like go left or go right, what happens is there is a universe in which you went left and also another universe where you went right.
All these small forks in the road can end up in enormous changes of circumstance.

I've no proof but only a gut feeling that sometimes people may get a glimpse of another universe in which some events have unfolded quite differently.
Of course it could have been a dream.

good to see you back in action, Rikki. i'm busy with two. five must be madness. might as well go for the Walton's at this point. it was such a good show after all. i hooked both my kids into that show.

i side with Goggs' second option, probably a dream. falling asleep with the news on can really aid that kind of process.
