How cool is Stephen Colbert?

Do you think it's possible that any of the cases in your book have more to do with mis-identification than anything else?

Up to this moment, nothing has convinced me that UFOs are anything but mis-identified objects. What convinced you that UFOs are not from Earth?
 
Major Donald Keyhoe shaped the UFO scene by introducing the concept that the military is concealing information from us on flying saucers, putting the military in a defensive position.
With its efforts at maintaining military secrecy, how much of an extra problem has the government caused over the years?
Also, do you believe the claims that the military has exploited the UFO myth as a cover story for secret projects?

Another question- Some of the practical jokes by off duty military personnel have probably been UFO related. Do you know of any instances of UFO pranks on bases?
 
What's her take on the Belgium triangle case now that a photograph related to it has turned out to be fake?

Does Jim Penniston's ever-evolving story change her opinions about Rendlesham...or even about him?

Many have dismissed the 10 PM sightings as flares (Correctly, in my opinion) but have asserted that the earlier sightings at 8-8:30 of a supposedly solid V-shaped object remain something mysterious. But despite witness claims to the contrary I believe the first part of this video clearly shows that this earlier "object" was not a single object, that the lights do move independently of each other and are probably jets flying in formation.
 
Some questions of my own:

- Do you really feel that by applying pressure for UFO investigation on the political segment of society you're following the right course of action? Wouldn't it be more important to, for instance, divulge those good sightings and data in universities and colleges, places where future and present scientists and thinkers work?
- Military personnel are usually regarded as top drawer witnesses, but have you ever felt that some of them may be answering to interests that go beyond the simple, sincere truth? Counter-intelligence and disinformation are the building blocks of the intelligence community and sometimes it seems that some of the military witnesses have ulterior motives behind their stories.
- What is your reaction to the recent news regarding the supposed fabrication of a famous UFO photo linked to the Belgian wave of 1989/90? Does it affect your confidence in the seriousness of that case?
- As a journalist, how do you deal with your colleagues' work regarding the UFO phenomena? Have you ever found yourself in a position where you felt compelled to criticize the lack of rigour and objectivity of other journalists' work?
