David Halpeirn is a professor emeritus of religious studies at the U of NC, Chapel Hill. He and Gene were boyhood friends and Halperin has written a new novel entitled: Journal of a UFO Investigator. Gene thinks he may be one of the characters in the book :)

I like this guest's academic approach to the subject. Not many academics (and I grew up with a parent in Big Academia) would ever admit that they didn't know something, or publicly admit being wrong (about Chris' case as a kid).
