Just saw this link as well. Either way this ordeal is overly ludicrous. But the link I'm giving has a different type of window, no cut ups as shown in the video at the start of this thread. Apparently the video has not been released (of course you should have to wait and buy the documentary from this lunatic ass), but there is a still from it.

funny, sounds like he's quite the enterprenaur. UFO videos and lap dances, sign me up.....yesterday!

I have no idea what a real alien would look like, so I have no strong opinion on the video either way, the blinking is a little strange but it's cool how he kind of floats off the screen. Looks like a tool video or something. Strange how he was able to actually get press for this stuff, I wonder how he managed that? I think the fact he got so much press makes me very suspicious. If I called up CNN tommorrow and said I had an alien on video they would say, 'show us the video!' and if I didn't because I wanted to save it for my documentary they would hang up the phone in .5 seconds. The only reason I can see this getting any press is that the local government gave this guy the pedistal to get attention.

Yes it is clearly "animal", the drummer from the show. Time simply has been unkind to his hairline.

It's unfortunate for Romanek that he obviously didn't research the
slick-talking nutcase Peckman before letting Peckman convince him
that they could make easy money with this. Just the background
info on Peckman posted in this thread says enough.
 
Sigh... That's the FAKE video I mentioned, the one with the alien doll you can buy in most novelty shops. In the "real" video the window is a large, single pane, not a latticed window.
 
Indeed it is one of several fake versions. I actually was referring to the alien in the still from the real Romanek footage.
The "blinking"...um hmmmm...alien in this video clearly doesn't look like "Animal". Sorry, I should have split part of my
previous post to the other new Peckman thread.
 
I am sooooooo going to make a serious alien video. I call upon David Biedny to help me, so we may perpetrate one of the greatest hoaxes, and make a lot of money doing so.

The reason? So we too, can be legitimate UFO Panhandlers and grifters. I bet we'd make a lot of cash, and then after we've gotten enough money to retire to Bolivia, or wherever, we tell the truth, that it was all a scam. Just like that Douche who made the Alien Autopsy video.

THIS IS THE ACTUAL VIDEO JUST LEAKED 06.01.08 AROUND 1AM. NOT THE REINACTMENT VIDEO!! This video has since been removed by the user!! THIS IS NOT A JOKE VIDEO. I DID NOT MAKE THIS. IT APPEARS TO BE THE ACTUAL VIDEO LEAKED. HERE IS WHERE I GOT IT.

The video was posted here at around 1am CST by a user named Tivoliu. They had just opened a YouTube account and posted this one video. It was titled only as FILE DA-2544300 with the tags of "denver, colorado, alien".
and it only had about 200 views. So I watched it a hundred times, and compared the window to the one one released officially to Larry King, and it is the same winow. The King video has his watermarks on it, and I know they can be easily removed, but overall the video looked authentic. And it was uploaded anonymously. So I thought about it a while, and decided to rip it and spread it around. And now the user has removed it and closed the account!! so I wonder if it might be an actual leak of the video.

When I saw that the user had removed the video and closed the account, I went back to the cached search pages to retrieve the info about the original. Go watch it, I think it's legit.

The bald, whitish "being" with an elliptical head and big black eyes is seen in the video peering just over a windowsill, blinking, looking around and then going down, out of view. The creature raised its head several times but no other parts of its body is seen.

"It does have somewhat of an ET appearance as I recall, but the skin was much more smooth, not these deep old wrinkles. (It was ) very gentle looking, benevolent, kind of had a soft appearance to it," said Peckman, describing the video.

But making even shitty CGI takes alot of time, and I'm curious as to why someone would take time to make this, and post it for a hoax, with very scant details so you could hardly find it, and then a few hours later pull it down and close their just opened account? That's all. It just seemed curious to me. I thought abit before I even upped it because I hate disinformation bullshit. But it is what it is. I still wouldn't be surprised if it's an actual segment from the video set to be released. I mean, what is a "real alien" supposed to look like?! ha

I've seen stupider shit try to get passed off for real. "Alien Autopsy" comes to mind.

My gut feeling is that this Peckman guy is just trying to get attention. Either he's doing it to have a laugh at our expense, or he's seriously coo-coo. If what the newspaper says about him, that he's trying to get money for some alien contact committee in Denver, then I don't think his motives in this case are the same as those genuinely interested in UFOs and making contact. On that note, I hardly think anyone would believe that aliens would travel hundreds of billions of miles just to stare curiously through his window. Then again, I've seen <i>Explorers</i>, and they could just be snooping, mischievous teenage aliens.

The whole thing makes me want to ignore UFOs and Ufology all together. I was just getting interested again and getting over my cynicism at everything that's being done, and here we go again with the freaking nutjobs. It's depressing.
