Open Minds Forum -- Closed Brain Disinformation

I have concluded that OMF is the internet messageboard clearinghouse for disinformation, cheesy hoaxes, and a collection of the useless tools in UFOLOGY. I think James Carrion is right when he said that watch out for messageboard disinformation.

Why is OMF so bad at doing disinformation.

Lets see these stories are featured there:

2. SERPO ==
3. Exopolitics :
4. John Lear---hahhaha what a kook

I could go on and state the obvious but thats the deal, its so obvious that you really do not need anyone to tell you. Its just about as lousy of a forum as you can get with the most collection of useless idiots like Lear.

So many internet messageboards such as this one with some at least decent people who talk with clearminds.

basically what is irritating is they waste so much bandwidth on so much useless failed disinformation.

I enjoy the paracast. I find some interesting folks here. There are people who are spiritual who will take you to task for being to reductionist. There are atheist who will challenge your views and dogmas. It's a good place to talk and to learn how others think However, I have noticed a certain ....oh what's the word? arrogance? Well not quite it. Nastinesss? Kind of but not quite. Snarky? Maybe. Let me go with snarky. A certain kind of snarky attack mode when it comes to other forums or other researchers or folks who you don't agree with. Not any one poster in particular just seems to be a bunch of em around here. It's kind of the attitude of "I read this forum and because they are friendly with so and so who I know is a first cousin of an idiot who bumped into a certain researcher at a conference and that researcher didn't cuss em out so the whole forum and the whole bunch of them are not worthy of respect." Then ya kind of lump em all in and make snide remarks and that way you keep your little feelings of superiority and if they don't pass your test then to hell with em.

I hope that post is at least as clear as mud... I know what I want to say but I'm not sure I said it very well. Anyway, I guess if we are going to attack everyone who has a different outlook than the approved outlook then I'll just get kicked out of the club myself. One final illustration and I'll hush.

I have two co-workers and both are "salt of the earth." One black and one white. Honest as the day is long but consider one subject that they both spoke about recently. Obama. The white worker said (very honestly cause it's how she felt.) The major media gives this president a free ride. They will call ya a racist if you disagree and they are so politically correct with the hollywood elite and people like that and it makes me worry about the nation....Now the black co-worker said : Honestly cause she really feels this way...Ya know "they" will do anything to discredit the president. They will make stuff up and no matter what he does "they" will find a reason to gripe and call it wrong.

Yet I can honestly say that both those folks I quoted above are two of the best folks that I know. They just see the same thing and have different interpretations. So, lighten up cause you can disagree with out character assasanation. (or be intelligent and still spell like a third grader.) Peace! 8)

Wait a minute, wait a minute!

For one thing, a message board (Open Minds Forum) doesn't have a character to assassinate!

And secondly, the subjects mentioned, The Caret Drones, SERPO, Exopolitics, and John Lear are to anyone paying attention to UFOlogy the past 10 or 15 years are all known hoaxes, hoaxers, or simply ridiculous in nature. There really isn't much to be left up to alternative interpretation given the facts about the Drones, SERPO, and so forth.

And lastly, Dan Bursich and company were proven to be hoaxers years ago ...they have no character to assassinate either.

It's not just this post. It's many post over the years. And one excuse is a good as another. Just something I've noticed over the years of visiting and being a part of this community. But, I'm sure your "right" Don't ever doubt yourself and keep firing.

Buh the bye. Yes I agree in "my" "opinion" Lear is whacked and I'm not real familiar with the other folks. But, ya know what? Lear may have seen some things in his life that I don't know about. He may be abslolutely crazy. I just don't know. I do know that there are times when a person can be smart and honest and simply wrong. There are times when a person can be wrong about one thing but it doesn't mean they are wrong about everything they ever say. I've seen people (I don't know em cause I'm not a researcher and don't mingle in that venue.) The next U.F.O. conference I go to will be my first one! But, I digress. I've seen people verbally attacked on these threads for simply being in the same room or conference as somebody else the "keepers of the truth" have deemed to be whack jobs. That's guilt by association and it's silly. But, as I said I don't want to bother those who are so sure that reality can be wrapped up in a little box and the search is over. So, I'm gonna back on out of this one before I alienate the whole forum. Course if I do then I guess that's the way the ball bounces. But, I'm just trying to let a little air into a musty smoky and at times snarky little room.

Even the name "Open Minds" is kinda classic disinfo. All the people who frequent the OM forum aren't ... "open minds" in any way shape or form Its quite wonderful in a way (just think, the people who are on the forums will NEVER get that ... ever )

Annnyway ... found out recently that the Open Minds Forum guys are helping Stan Romanek to put together his documentary (you know ... the one thats been taking about 150,000 years to make) ... so I guess thats all you need to know about them. They're hucksters, and they're there to keep the gullible in a little corral of their own. Well I say good luck to them ... it keeps them away from here

[ps I had a dream about John Lear about a week ago . Nice guy. Took me for a flight in a plane and we did loop the loops and things. Only problem is I fell asleep in the middle of it all, and missed all the really cool stuff he could do . He had a really strong and friendly handshake as well ... which was nice. He said nothing about trees on the moon or 13000 mile long ufos orbiting Saturn. Bit of a shame really ...]

O.k. point taken. I guess I picked the wrong thread to try and make my points on. Cause I can't disagree with anything Paraschtick just said. But, I still stand by what I've written. I just should have started a new thread to do it with. Cuz it doesn't seem to belong in this one. Peace! Next time maybe I'll just start a new thread so it doesn't seem as if I'm "defending" or attacking any certain person. My statements were actually about some things I've been noticing around here for a while. So, I'll back away from this thread slowly...slowly...Look over there! Poof!
