Brent Raynes began researching the UFO phenomenon back early in 1967, at age 14. He is the editor of an online monthly magazine entitled Alternate Perceptions (apmagazine.info), and the author of Visitors From Hidden Realms (2004) and On The Edge of Reality (2009). Raynes has a third book coming out in a few months, to be published by Visionary Living Publishing, to be tentatively entitled John A. Keel: The Man, Myths and Mysteries.
Raynes' ufological journey was heavily influenced by John Keel early on. They shared correspondence that began back in October 1969. Though initially Raynes was focused solely on the mainstream's "nuts and bolts" extraterrestrial hypothesis, he soon began to explore alternative explanations and theories, largely influenced by Keel, but other authors as well, like Jacques Vallee and Brad Steiger.
This episode will be recorded Thursday, May 17th, from 1:30 until 3:30 PM Pacific.
Guest cohost will be Goggs Mackay.
