nice post. definitely not acting from the kids. the object was quite weird, it almost looks like a firework attached to a kite, that is spinning slowly in the air - not the likely explanation as i would think attaching a flaming firework to a kite is one way to make a kite catch fire!

Looks like a sparkler attached to a model airplane that is doing loops. You can see the increase in speed as it goes down and the reduction in speed as it ascends.
