Hi gang,

I think it has been well over a year since I was last here. I am proud to say I am hopefully back to contribute to these wonderful forums with the lovely people here. Last year wasn't a particularly wonderful year for me, I had a series of health problems which impacted on life in general. 2014 saw me moving into a different career, so all in all, hopefully I am back on track.

I listened to the Stanton Friedman interview, yesterday, which I found very interesting. I have discovered the writings of Joseph P. Farrell, Micah Hanks and several other interesting writers.

So, what have I missed in the year I was away?

Ditto and it's a big ask - the forum has been busy with many new members. I take it you were listening to the shows when not coming here? This year has had an amazing run of shows so be sure to dip in and check them out.

if you peruse the recent monster threads regarding consciousness and the paranormal, skinwalker ranch etc. you'll quickly get a sense of what's been driving the forum recently. but as Goggs said, there have been a string of really excellent shows in the last couple of months that are very worth listening to, though they haven't always generated the type of forum traffic you would expect they would.

the big news of course is Christopher O'Brien's Stalking the Herd monster book that came out, making some bold definitive statements about cattle mutilation. this was featured on the paracast and i don't know why more people aren't writing about it? maybe his writing was too critical and detailed and not pandering enough to the fantastic and bizarre. regardless it was very well received and supported by paracast fans. but i wonder if this was the cover maybe more people would be all over it?

there have been some other noticeable departures and lurking on behalf of a number of posters - many have gone fishing for the summer it seems, but so have i - got some great walleye in the freezer to portion off for the fall. i just take time to post inbetween putting worms on the triple harness. perhaps others went on the bus?

Waiting for the real summer down here... been a very odd season this one, snow one day and then high temps the next.

But come summer it will be fishing time this year I hope, missed the last two years as I have been away working.
So get the gear out check it over and head to the beach and surf cast away .. get a few Kahawai to put in the freezer for winter.
