Get Steven Greer back on the show

How about getting Steven Greer back on the show to see if he can defend his X-conference appearance, I would like to hear what he has to say for himself, if it was anything like what has been said on the paracast he has completely lost the plot.

Unlikely. I very much doubt Greer would come back on knowing that:

A) He'd be used as a human punching bag

and

B) There's no possible way to defend his "alien baby" and "elder entity that's not a moth, honest!" claptrap

What a shame I wanted to hear all about the "little cute alien baby".

What makes you think he'd go into detail? He rarely does.

Greer is amusing in the WTF kinda sense, but he's a lost cause. He's too carried away now. See vectoring in bug pic.

Just wanted to hear him say the words himself for a laugh, didn't expect him to go into detail.

I used to listen to Greer for laughs, but it turned out I was angry halfway through. Pity. Another one bit the dust. He's too much a believer now. And perhaps too confident with his conjecture and role. A doctor should know not to make large claims without evidence. What next? Build a pyramid with a wiffle bat? Ugh, I can go on, but it's already been done in other threads. For a laugh, type in Greer in the search. If I remember correctly, there's a huge thread on him.

Please dont do that. Do not put Greer back on. If you do that your no better than C2C. Just entertainment but nothing of substance. It will be a monumental waste of time and energy. If you do put him on again, you might as well just stop doing the show all together.

I agree, after reading your and other posts I now think that it would be a bad idea, it would be a laugh but this show is about more than that.

At this point, we have no plans to ask Greer back on the show.

That stated, know that, if we did, the very first thing we'd do is take him to task for some of the ridiculous things I heard him say during the X-Conference and demand that he show all of us some of the video and pictures he claims to have. In fact, now that I consider that, perhaps it would be quite revealing to have him back and put his feet to the fire.

I would also tend to think that, as much as we might like to make him answer some important questions, he is most likely not going to want to come on anyway.

The unfortunate thing is that the more Greer exposes himself as a wacko, the more easily people dismiss the good witnesses from the Disclosure Project. He has done a terrible disservice to these people and their story and it makes me wonder if it is on purpose. And not that he is some mastermind of disinformation for the government, but maybe for some personal or other reason. It sure appears that way anyway.

It may be a better endeavor to have on some of those witnesses to help them distance themselves from this reputation wrecker. Perhaps in the midst of the crystal clear realm of credible ufologists these people decided to tell their story to the wrong person. He may have even appeared to be a good person, that is, until the alien baby burst through the good doctors ribcage.

I think you folks are being too harsh on Dr. Greer. I believe he is completely sincere and find him to be extremely credible- he is a Doctor after all. How many of you can say that? I also think Billy Meier is one of the more fascinating people in the field of ufology. One thing is for certain- no one has yet proven ANY of his AMAZING photographs to be fakes- not one! I'd like to see Greer and Meier together at a conference- that would be soooooooo EPIC! Maybe you could throw in that Mel's Hole guy from the Art Bell show or that dude who captured a Bigfoot.
CREDIBILITY, THY NAME IS GREER.

This has to be a joke, right?

Btw. Ignore the edit to your post. I didn't do anything, just hit the wrong button.

"This has to be a joke, right?"
Yeah, I'm not being serious. I have zero desire to listen to Greer again. I much prefer credible folks to the average Coast to Coast guest.

Ha ha! Good one, ABR486. :D

Greer should not be allowed to speak anywhere without showing those videos and photos first.

Of course, that's obviously why he won't show them. If he did, and they show what he claims to have seen, then there will be no reason to listen to him anymore.

well if he does come back perhaps he can lecture you again about the great fortunes that have been made writing books about UFOs

Greer is notorious for streeeeeeeeeeeeetching thruths. When he speaks it's also interesting to hear him use "big" words over and over. Seems like a snake oil salesman. Back in 1997 a co-worker and I went to this UFO seminar in Seattle. I had no idea who he was nonetheless we sat through his chat then got the flashlights out and headed out to the country to "vector" in craft. Of course nothing happened. He pointed out some obvious planes and invisible craft around claiming ETs were inside. Sidenote, I sat next to him most of the night. Gave me the creeps. Weird dude.
