Your assumptions aren't correct. That one or two active members went willy nilly to remove their posts, regardless of the impact, shows that complete freedom — rare on such forums — didn't work. This is not an issue involving approval. it's a matter of requiring that you request a change or removal of a post after 2 hours. We generally will do it for you. Those who say remove 200 posts are going to be questioned, however. So far, other than one or two other comments, you are the only one in this forum making a big deal of this. Indeed, I'm a member of a number of forums, and most either prohibit edits and deletions, or restrict the time in which you can do it. We are the rare exception, and those who abused the privilege have made it a little more difficult for those who want to obey the rules.
