When I was in S. Korea some years ago during a joint operation exercise I noticed something peculiar: all of their power plants and steel refineries were surrounded by concrete walls with anti- aircraft guns mounted on each corner.
While this is a bit of militaristic extremism-rightfully so since they are bordered by an open enemy- I am often puzzled by the lack of military protection that US engines of infrastructure receive. One of the first things, were I commander in chief, I would have done after 9/11 would have been to secure those sites. But I'm not an alarmist in reality.
Nevertheless, interesting rebuttal article. I wish I could read the original report that this is rebutting.

might be a side effect which might enhance signals /headlight toward other dimensions for so called 'et abductions theory' due all us relying on electronic devices through out our homes. Furthermore, with most nations connected to satellite systems and underground electronic cables it begs the question is a high number of the so called contacts manipulated images from these interference of magnetic fields around our homes or in secluded locations where communication systems interference?---------- Post added at 10:26 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:21 AM ----------
I have to agree regarding lack of protection in electronic facilities (not to sexy for democracy to see heavily armed location these days) so called military location and heavy reliance on private security rather traditional military especially on bases for so called cost cutting which might come back and bite you on the ass!
There may be a political/economic angle here. Drs Radasky and Fry appear to have a large personal stake in EMP:

The scary part is that nuclear facilities are guaranteed to be way more secure than generating stations run on coal and steam power . Yet, the vast majority of our national energy consumption is sourced from this rather than Nuclear power plants. I live less than 50 miles from a nuclear power station called Comanche Peak. You dont have to be a security specialist to see the obvious security issues.

So true and with the coming years more nuclear facilities will replace coal stations most likely. In addition , who going to guard them ?

That is the official story right? (scratches head) Yeah, yeah, that's it, I'm pretty sure. What does belief have to do with it? You know, it's like JFK having been killed by a lone assassin who made an incredible series of shots using a rifle that had to be repaired before it could be test fired. I mean, the government would not spend so much time and money on official commissions and reports just to obfuscate the truth would they? Do you realize how much time was spent trying to get 911 to fit into the "lone nut" formula before they gave up on that? So much for consistency.
