On May 17th, 2012 a group of investigators that included retired aerospace engineer/petroglyph expert Ron Regerh, archaeo-astronomer/author Gary David and civil/environmental engineer, Zuni Elder Clifford Mahooty investigated the rim above the Little CO River Confluence, and then upstream near the Hopi's most sacred site: the Sipapu, or "Place of Emergence." I filmed two out of five flights down into the Little Colorado Gorge (3 miles from Grand Canyon) three of these flights appeared to have large loads strung underneath. What are they up to? This is restricted no-fly airspace and near the proposed location of a $200 million casino project on the eastern rim of Grand Canyon at the confluence--complete with 1.5 mile tramway down 4000' into the gorge--down to within site of the Sipapu! A complete 30 minute documentary of our trip will be posted here soon!
