While I admire your enthusiasm, I don't share it. Forget UFOs, even from a liberal base perspective, Obama is already proving a sell-out. I can promise that even if he does learn anything, he will release nothing. . .he's too busy handing out money to the banks that already ripped us off a few short months ago and appointing the republican-lite gang from the Clinton Administration.

Ok, I did what you wanted and bumped every disclosure thread I could find.

But, I have very little faith in this, or apparently our citizens. The top topic when I checked (actually two of the top eight) were for the legalization of marijuana.

I disagree. That argument always strikes me as entirely too sensible. I dont like it. Maybe a UFO announcement might cause changes in all those areas you mentioned.

This is silly anyway because they will never do it.

Still, I voted up all the UFO items.

To be fair to the man, even assuming he is in some way able to initiatesome form of "disclosure" (assuming US authorities actually know anything to disclose, and know that they know it, and that the prez is in or able to get in the loop), surely he has more pressing concerns on his plate just now?
Given that the UFO phenomenon doesn't seem to have changed its behaviour lately there's obviously no urgency for disclosure (or to do anything else about it), so I'd argue that with all the crises and other issues needing urgent attention it would be irresponsible for him to make it an issue at this point.
 
I voted all the UFO related items up. I sent an email to friends and asked them to do the same. WHY? Simple, I am not ready to give up hope. Do I think it is honestly going to matter? No, I dont. But, I can still hope and be proud of the fact that the NSA has another peice of information that shows my stance on the issue.
