I think shows like Art Bell were all disinformation projects to hide government experiments. It is not to say that Art Bell or others KNEW they were disinformation, but they could have been used and financed to promote their carnival shows. We know that Coast to Coast received seed money from Robert Bigelow (who seems connected to the government). Art Bell featured regulars like Richard C. Hogwash, John Titor, Mad Man Marcum and Major Head Games. We were told that anything unusual in the sky were alien time travel reptilians and Whitley Streiber butt pirates. --that all in-coming comets were Stargate motherships - and that millions of people were being abducted from their homes at night. The show picked up more affiliates than a teenager picked up zits.
All a complete misdirection project. Would a show exposing REAL secrets have such corporate support? I don't think so.
I think the government sponsors such BS. Why? So that it can misdirect its military projects and keep tabs with anyone who has seen an actual advanced military program. That is the purpose of a 'UFO reporting center.' This lets the government know what has been seen AND BY WHOM. If people have been injured - as in the classic 1980 Cash/Landrum case - they can just say it is 'UFO' nonsense. These people were clearly irradiated and seriously injured and saw over 20 military helicopters accompanying a 'UFO,' but since they saw a 'UFO,' the government ignored their claims and debunked them. They will not pay for injuries. They can laugh, instead.
The military/surveillance industry has been expert in debunking all observation of their technology as 'UFO crazy talk.' Very convenient!
The time has come for all people interested in the unusual to completely throw out the 'alien hypothesis.' We now know for certain that crop circles are man-made. Similarly, it is time to also throw out the 'alien' hypothesis. There are no aliens coming here from trillions of miles away in their little ships with no bathrooms.
It would be far more productive for us to contemplate the reality of human technology and to question it's purpose. Instead of spinning our wheels debating unlikely alien scenarios, why don't we see this as advancements in actual earthly technology? Technology that could be used to help us. What we know for sure is that the government has an obsession with drones and surveilence and mass control. THAT is far more likely a source of our interest.
Instead of asking what aliens want, we should instead ask ourselves what our government wants!!
I've noticed over the years all the 'UFO' propaganda techniques by 'UFO researchers' to suggest that there is an alien presence - references to 'doctors' who have fake PhDs, hearsay, old unverifiable stories, testimony of liars, publicity whores, insane nuts, old newspaper stories, fake documents, and so-called 'expert' witnesses. After these stories are established as 'fact,' a conclusion is drawn that 'humans could not do this.' Or that such technology could not have existed in the distant past. Or that the witnesses should be believed. The logic is good, but the proof in the first place is shoddy.
We have gotten nowhere in 60 years in proving an alien hypothesis. Why? Because there are no aliens. We have been misdirected. What IS true is that we are being subverted, seduced, bamboozled, tricked, surrounded, attacked, infiltrated, abducted, reamed and bullied by a very real force that is human based. THAT is where we should focus.
Time to throw out the tin foil hat and to look into what whistleblowers like Edward Snowden are trying to tell us. What they are saying is 'paranormal' enough, but true. Talk about infiltration!! Is this the source of the unconscious hysteria that is the basis of the 'abduction phenomenal?' I think so. Time to stop talking nonsense. Time to face up to the real invasion.
