). I just ordered the ones I was most interested in and it's worked out fine for me so far. I have Secrets of the Mysterious Valley and Stalking The Trickster, plus the DVD companions, which helps to put a personality onto the work. Chris is a very good writer.

The Mysterious Valley and Enter the Valley should have been one book but the publisher balked and forced me to do it in two books. TMV is a blow-by-blow detailing of the UFO/mute wave in the San Luis Valley 1993 through 1995 with a lot of documentation from the 60s (Snippy+UFO waves) 70s (all the mute reports+UFO and chopper reports) and some 80s info as well.
Enter The Valley is the investigative work I did from 1994 through 1997 plus a whole lot of SLV research into weird events, people, treasure legends, haunted sites, underground bases, and notable people I met and interviewed. Secrets of the Mysterious Valley (sub-title: An Investigator's Journey Through The Unknown) cherry-picks & skims the cream from the first two books (leaves out some of the fascinating historical stuff that is non-UFO or paranormal related) and adds my abduction cases, notable SLV cases from 1998-2005 plus some analysis. I added a bunch of personal history information and attempted to share with the reader what it's like putting 300K miles on your truck (in 6 years) running around, working to make a living, recording and gigging w/ my band, investigating weirdness, etc. Plus I attempt to present some actual analysis of the SLVs activity— in a big picture context. Stalking the Trickster is my attempt to come up w/ a correlation between divergent paranormal phenomena and present the "trickster" archetype as a possible causal mechanism that connects (and possible binds) these different types of weirdness together.

I'm not sure I follow your e-mail. You mentioned you authored or coauthored a "UFO Investigator Manual" in the late 90's and had to dig it out of a box and then you were going to put it on-line for people to download.

I forgot about that. Yes, I did mention it on a show. The Skywatch Investigator's Manual is in storage and I need to go and rummage through some boxes of files and find it next time I'm there...

Hey Christopher,
I enjoyed watching your take regarding the Mute phenom on the recent episode of Unexplained Mysteries. Assuming it is human/govt operation, it would have to be a massive undertaking- considering the distance between each case, as well as the amount of time. I think it was L Howe who documented the short length of time compared to the distance between a couple of cases. An example would be an obvious Mute case one night in Cali, then another the following night in say, Montana. That would indicate multiple govt agencies working the same covert operation, since the late 60's. Yet, not one leak from anyone involved over 45 years. I wonder if the govt is even capable of pulling something like this off, on such a scale, without one casualty or slip up. Heck, even the Seal team who killed Bin Laden wrecked a vehicle trying to land in his front yard. I imagine you prob cover all this in your book, which I do plan on reading soon. Just got to thinking about this last night after the episode- and this is something I've been following since the early 90's. Thanks for keeping this topic out in the open, and interesting.

A vast majority of these cases happen in remote prairie land—easy terrain for choppers to be used. Plus, perhaps they've developed a system that can grab the cow without landing. Gabe Valdez had some cases in Arroyo Hondo and Red River, NM that showed bruising on the animal consistent with a large claw-like clamp being used. So, they aired the segment? How much was I used and how did they use it in relation to the rest of the segment. What were they leaning towards, aliens? Gov? Debunking?

They went to you quite a bit, more so towards the end of the segment(1st half hour) on the Mute phenom. They seem to lean more towards a Govt program as the source- Highlighting the Mad Cow problem in the UK from '96, going back to you where you mention how they cremated millions of cattle then shipped off the ashes to multiple countries to use as fertilizer. Something I was not aware of and found very interesting. They really didn't entertain an alien source as much as that of Govt. I also found it interesting that many of the Mute cases showed broken ribs, indicating a drop from above. Overall, I think the program did a great job- and if not for you, would not have had much information to go with, as far as possible govt agenda.
