Save for a few intriguing tales of people claiming they saw something creepy in or outside Highgate cemetery, this episode was largely devoid of cold hard facts and evidence, and I'm still relatively unclear as to what David Farrant has even done in this field. I'm not suggesting he hasn't done...
Yes great listen, indeed. Pretty sure i heard to the interview he was referring to a while ago, but will have to re-visit. Just bring Don back next week and let him recount more of his best interviews so we can all circle back to them after the show...
Hey Gene and Chris, not sure if anyone's suggested this guy, but Barry Taff sounds like he could be an interesting guest. George Knapp is a solid host and does a good job in this January interview, but I think you guys can dig deeper on some of this Taff's experiences. He just put out a new book...
Very nice - thanks for sharing this, Chris. I think it highlights a few very important aspects of human behavior - ie, the reactionary and fearful. That's a nasty combination, and when one is consumed by one or the other - or both - one has categorically lost control over his or her own actions.
hmmm....yes indeed. Though, relatively speaking, many people in high places possess one type of insanity or another...so, personally, I'm not really convinced they're any more important than the rest of the lot. I suppose if it was clear that they really have influence then I might think more of...
Can someone please explain to me why we ought to give a crap about a bunch of bible-thumpers that happen to have a definitive opinion on the ETH hypothesis?
No disrespect to NR - I think he's a fine researcher and maintains a solid attitude towards his field of study - but am I the only one...

hmmm.....unfortunately I missed the show. Not unreasonable to think...
I understand the desire to find out more about that which we do not understand, but all this whining about seeing the photos or finding the location is ridiculous.
As Gene says, respect the people who live there. But also respect the field investigator's hard work - don't be an idiot and...
This is in reference to the July 4 show with Walter Bosley and Greg Bishop. I don't believe this topic was covered in the initial debacle of a thread for this show so I would like to address it briefly.
Towards the end of the episode, Walter stresses,
"You've got a far far greater...
June 20th: A plea to Gene and Paul
Yes this is all interesting stuff, but if Stanton wrote a cooking book would you all discuss food? Don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining, I'm simply wondering why you guys wandered off the paranormal path at Stanton's lead...
I gotta say, after listening to this episode I would really like to hear a round-table with this group and the abduction researchers (Jacobs and Hopkins) because in listening to the doubts these three were voicing - in agreement - about the abduction phenomenon suppositions, I could distinctly...
Hey you guys did a great job. I wouldn't pay attention to your detractors.
Paul, can you fill us in on the Michael Cherniak (sp?) film...ie, the name of the film, where one may be able to find it, his name (with correct spelling), etc...
Thanks!
This is beginning to sound like an argument for argument's sake. I wouldn't go ahead and affirm that HAARP is being used malevolently (and I don't think anyone here is asserting that either) but I also wouldn't consider the possibility a conspiracy. I think we can all agree that governments have...
David, concerning last week's preamble: I'm not complaining, and it's not my business to tell you how to behave, but since you brought it up I figured I would offer my opinion. Something as petty as name-calling isn't even worth acknowledging. It isn't necessary to defend yourself against...
