    Football/Soccer WorldCup

    Yeah, that was totally unnecessary.

    Football/Soccer WorldCup

Brazil is looking much better today. 1 X 0 against Ivory Coast by the end of the first half. Let's hope they score at least one more on the second one. :)

    Football/Soccer WorldCup

What's Brazil like during a World Cup match Rio is weird, hehe. I used to go to Rio a lot when I was dating this girl who lived in Ipanema. And I used to be shocked to see people coming out of bank offices or ATM booths in bathing suits. Creepy. Switzerland surprised everyone here too...

    Football/Soccer WorldCup

What's Brazil like during a World Cup match I've got nothing against soccer itself. My problem is the butterfly effect: eleven dudes walk into a rectangle of grass on the other side of the Atlantic, and the entire nation of Brazil just frickin' STOPS - or worse, goes absolutely insane.

    Football/Soccer WorldCup

What's Brazil like during a World Cup match People here are furious at coach Dunga and his players. Anything less than butchering NK (as we did to Tanzania last week) is deemed unacceptable. Also, Kaka was lousy on the field. Just lousy. But I said I don't care about soccer. Damn World...

    Football/Soccer WorldCup

What's Brazil like during a World Cup match I'm probably the only human in Brazil who doesn't care about soccer or the World Cup. Yesterday was my country's first match, against North Korea. Game's kickoff would be at 3:30 PM by the Brasilia time. We were allowed to leave work by 2 PM. I did...

The May 16th episode - Chris O'Brien / Antonio Huneeus

Yes, maybe "skeptical thinker" fits me better. But, for instance, of all the hypotheses for the UFO phenomenon, I tend to favor the psicosocial one. :)

The May 16th episode - Chris O'Brien / Antonio Huneeus

I'm a skeptic, you know (dodges an egg, two tomatoes and six rotten cabbages coming from the booing audience). What interests me the most about the Villas-Boas case is the little exposure the abductee has had to popular culture at the time. I don't know much about the case of the dead hunters...

The May 16th episode - Chris O'Brien / Antonio Huneeus

Good one, Gene. I always like it when your show has South American guests, since they usually bring up some cases that, for me, are close to home. :) Mr. Huneeus talked about a few interesting Brazilian cases, like the Villas-Boas abduction, which has fascinated me since I was a kid. It's an...

    What does the future hold?

I have so much to learn. What the heck is "paranormal food"?

It's official; Ghost Hunters fakes it

It's obvious that Ghost Hunters and their spinoffs fake stuff. I mean, come on. What always surprised me the most is that even the fake "evidence" on their episodes sucks so epically. It's childish to say the least. There's that bunch of people in night-vision images, looking very tense and...

Voyager Recovered By Alien Life? Possibly.

Yes, I thought of Star Trek immediately. Life imitating art? :P

    Facebook and Myspace

So you're answering your own question. I was quoting you as you quote someone, "somewhere". :) I would recommend the Paracast Forums. Nice people there. I mean, here. ;)

    Facebook and Myspace

So the CIA "invented" Facebook with the sole purpose of secretly collecting information on innocent dumb humans. Well, then I should thank the CIA for having a job, since I'm a social media analyst and copywriter - and Facebook campaigns are a large part of my work. Wait. That makes me a...

    May 2nd- O'brien/Gordon

Great show indeed. Good talk, good hosting, great guests. Plus, the image of weird cryptid creatures walking menacingly in the dark and sounding like babies crying is something that's gonna haunt my creeped-out imagination for a long time. :P
