From what I can tell, most of these folks are not *constantly* stuck to the eyepiece though, and still spend a good bit of time just looking at the layout of the sky and enjoying the constellations... definitely much more so than "the general public", so the averages should still be potentially...

This does indeed sound like a fun one, and would probably make a good concept for an ongoing series, maybe once every so many episodes. I would LOVE to be able to hear and "get to know" more of the forum folk beyond just ideas / info in text form.
