NOW the Apocalypse has begun in Greece...

Free episodes:

Europe is screwed we are going to have another crisis soon. Everyone is Borrowing in Europe at Higher rates of Interest. Some Countries like Spain and Portugal and Italy and Ireland and the UK are are borrowing more then they are taking in from taxes. So the logic is... how can you pay back, what you don't have? Greece will never pay back the loans, they are bankrupt. If that Country fails the Euro fails. But you can't bail out everyone, it's common sense. Spain and Portugal will be next there fiscal policies are more serious than the UK or Ireland at the moment. Apocalypse is right.

It amazes me that many here on the forums ridicule people like Alex Jones who warn us of these things WELL in advance... AJ warned us of the events of 9/11, of the stock market crash, the swine flu scam, the global warming scam.... and this current crisis in Europe, etc etc etc. I do not subscribe to everything AJ says at all, but he does have some foresight that should be looked at carefully.

We here in the US do not even care that private banks have looted us to the tune of 27 trillion dollars so far... all we care about are singing and dancing shows.

Let's be honest: everyone is responsible for the credit crisis in some form or fashion. You had a Federal Reserve that kept rates lower than they should have been for too long, all in an effort to sustain an economy at a level that it shouldn't have been, as well as a wealth transfer mechanism; you had unregulated mortgage brokers pushing out loans to individuals whom they knew couldn't service those loans once the adjustable rate reset provisions took effect, probably during higher interest rate environments; you had many commercial banks engaging in the same activity as the mortgage brokers; you had regulators who were looking the other way, or at least certainly not bright enough, to realize that a major problem in retail and commercial real estate was developing; you had a U.S. Federal government that had enacted public policies encouraging home ownership among individuals who economically couldn't afford to pay their monthly mortgages under any realistic scenario (all supported by the secondary market liquidity functions of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which are still the major problems and sinkholes for public funds); you had individuals taking out mortgages, oftentimes knowing (or at last not wanting to think about) what would happen once rates increased and whether they could afford the homes purchased if they lost their jobs; you had developers looking to take advantage of excessive leverage and low rates to make a quick buck by developing residential properties and flipping them as quickly as possible; you had investment banks carelessly doing diligence on the loan pools that were being securitized, or at least not properly disclosing the risks to the investors; and you had sophisticated institutional investors that should have known better buying the securitized paper backed by toxic residential real estate pools because they wanted to earn a few extra basis points, so weren't eager to ask too many questions (many of whom sit in the treasury departments of commercial banks). All of this was out in the public domain for those who wanted to observe it and think critically about the situation.

So, there is plenty of blame to go around. The same type of thing is happening in many countries in Europe, where the banks are in worse shape than the weakest banks in the U.S. (chronic gross under-capitalization due to poor regulatory policies and sloppy enforcement by the European regulators; downright poor and incompetent business practices by the commercial banks). You don't need to be a Nobel-prize winning economist -- or even Alex Jones -- to see all this coming.

While we are being honest lets just make sure everyone knows that the "Federal" Reserve is no more "Federal" than Federal Express is.

We ridicule him because we're looking at the thousand of things he gets wrong, not the one or two he gets right. And come on, who didn't see 9/11 or the big crash coming? No points for easy targets.

As for swine flu, his crowd were the ones yipping about how the vaccines were "deadlier than the disease" and we'd see bodies in the streets. Wrong... again. I won't bother with global warming, your views are well known and moot.

Greece will prove him wrong AGAIN, regardless of outcome. If Greece survives, he's wrong. If it fails, it may well issue forth the end of the EU, proving the unsurvivability of large scale economic alliances, crushing any chance at the incresingly fictional NWO ever seeing the light of day. Lose-lose, Mr. Jones.

Point is you're giving the man way too much credit for the same reason people gave Cynthia Browne credit: it's easy to be a prophet if misses don't count.

Every time Alex Jones comes up, I cringe. He's another Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck - he says things for the sake of saying them so that people pay attention to him. The swine flu was a scam how? A family friend of my in-laws died because of it. I like you to tell them it was a scam. As for the vaccines, they worked and are the main reason that the pandemic was not worse. Living your life thinking that authority is out to get you is a bad way to live.
Don't get me started on global warming. We are affecting our climate, it would serve everyone better if we accepted it and tried to implement some solutions. It so strange how people cling to their beliefs even when the evidence shows the the contrary. Climate change deniers are no different that young Earth Creationists.

Germany is the EU bank...

Germany is the EU bank...

It ironic, less than twenty years since independence.. Germany is the EU bank lol. Germany is the largest Economy in the EU. So your Country can afford to loan out more to a Point and your Country like France has no Housing problem or banking crisis, something serious, like the rest of us around Europe are experiencing. We follow similar policies to the UK and which has been or downfall in the end and all seem to follow the America way of Home ownership. France, Germany, Italy rent more than buy.

He warned of 9/11 well warning speeches and predicting something are too different things. If he predicted the day, and time, and were these attacks would happen, i would be impressed. Stock market crash was going to happen, analysts were predicting something of this nature as far back as 2003. Swine flu was over blown in the media, but it was dangerous to people with chronic health and breathing problems. But flu kills more people than Swine flu every year, those are the facts.

The global warming scam is far from a scam, there is evidence that is real, but perhaps it not as bad as people presume. I haven' researched it enough to form a proper conclusion. I see it like this, it better to have a healthy world than a sick world. The current Crisis in Europe was not predicted by AJ Show me were he predicted Greece would fail, and then we can talk? Like i said above as far back as 2003 Economists with metal were predicting such events, but times were good, so they were shouted down by their critics.

i would love to see the evidence you speak of. no one can seem to come up with any. the global warming scam has been exposed. gt over it.
there is no doubt climate changes, that the globe warms and cools. it has done this for over 4 billions years. who are you to think you can control it?!

I'm not going to argue this with you. No matter what I bring up, you'll say that it's a source that has something to gain from "the global warming scam." You can believe what you want, I'm not going to change your mind. Climate change is a fact.
If you feel like it, there are plenty of peer reviewed journals that have articles in them showing that humans have had an effect on the climate. Also, we have had an effect on the Earth in the past, so don't be so flippant ans say we can't control it - remember CFCs and the number they did on the ozone layer? Or was that a scam too and the hole was just photoshopped?

Angel, Pixel..if you derail the thread a bit more, we will be talking about the A-team(which I wouldn't mind)

LMAO of course you won't debate it. None of you "warmists" will. Hey did you know it is millions of degrees just below the surface of the earth?!? At least that is what your leader AlGore says. LMAO...

Al Gore exaggerated the stats in An Inconvenient Truth. Like I said, there's no point in debating this with you - everything I say will be wrong. Also, I'm wondering if you can point me to a solid article in a peer reviewed journal supporting your position.

Thanks.

PS I think we're steering off course from the original post.

So typical... did you guys lose your evidence or something?.... Oh thats right... you did! LMAO!!!! Oh wait... the DOG ate it right?!?
Seriously... you have nothing to support your position that catastrophic anthropogenic warming is anything close to an issue we need to be concerned with.

Yup. That's it right there.

Angel the AGW/carbon trading scam is exposed. time to give it up. move on to more pressing issues like global economic failure, viable new energy resources, starvation, etc...

I'm not crusading or anything. I'm just looking at what the scientist are saying, that we're responsible for some of the climate change that we've seen. It isn't an impending apocalypse, but we need to make changes to our lifestyle. The ozone layer didn't get messed up on it's own - you can agree with that, right? And the greenhouse effect is real, no? So with us cutting down forests and burning more fuel, there's more CO2 in the atmosphere. I'm not saying anything outlandish here. I hope that you can agree with me on that. I just don't think saying that climate change is a scam is prudent.
