Just wondering what you guys think if this if you aren't familiar with it yet :
The Prophecy of the Popes, attributed to Saint Malachy, is a list of 112 short phrases in Latin. They purport to describe each of the Roman Catholic popes (along with a few anti-popes), beginning with Pope Celestine II (elected in 1143) and concluding with a pope described in the prophecy as "Peter the Roman", whose pontificate will end in the destruction of the city of Rome.

The current pope is the second last it seems , Peter the Roman is next .

The people of ireland are calling for a criminal investigation into the current sex scandel , if this happens , the vatican archieve will have to be unlocked to the public and police authorities , every record searched in detailed .
I believe this is the beginning of the end to the Vatican and the Roman Catholic Church .

112 Peter the Roman, who will nourish the sheep in many tribulations; when they are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the fearsome Judge will judge His people. The End.

I don't no will this lead to the end of the Catholic Church. But in my opinion, it be better if they slipped away now. There has been to many scandals emerging from the catholic church lately, grown men abusing boys over the years, even the Pope is being implicated in this scandal. Not as an abuser, but he, helped an abuser out, by moving him to another parish when he was a bishop.

I wouldn't believe in Prophecies, if i was you. Since they have a habit of not being true, maybe crying wolf so many times, one prophecy might actually come true and be verified as being predicted before it happened.

Not realizing my shades were open, I just changed clothes in front of a group of young boys. I think I'm ready for priesthood.

Keith (and why are they're called airplanes? So they aren't confused with waterplanes or roadplanes?)

I guess we need more data. How close was he on the others to predicting things? I dont think it is out of the realm of possibility that a person has a glimpse of something that might be. But, I think its kind of like the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. Once you see it you affect it. Thus what you really get is a glimpse of what happened in another timeline in some alternate universe. The thing is we don't know if enough has changed to alter the events as they were seen. Thus the future is still a crap shoot of sorts. Some stuff could be altered greatly while others did not alter a bit.

I am not sure I am really comfortable with this but in the 10 minutes I have thought about it this is the best I could come up with.

I have a good friend familiar with St. Malachy's prophecies who has actually made the very same argument. An interesting perspective that approaches prophecy from an angle no one would expect. For those unfamiliar with St. Malachy, there are a few YouTube videos that detail his prophecies.

Regarding the destruction of Rome, what relatively accessible city would you target with a nuke if you were an Islamic terrorist and wanted to start a broader religious conflict? I personally would think carefully about Rome as opposed to New York, London or other North American / Western European city.
