Gravity Seems Holographic Holographic Gravity Interesting. Scientists are still divided as to whether this means we exist within a hologram, but it's an interesting solution to the puzzle of gravity. As said in the second link: "In SEAT...

Reading theoretical physics makes my brain hurt. There's simply far too much imagining of concepts that I find very hard to grok. Last night I was talking with my son, who studies CO math - Combinatorics and Optimization, and I asked him what...

Smaller windows give a more claustrophobic feel and make it hard to see anything that is coming toward the house. And they often had plantings around them to obscure the house even further. Victorian houses are often a maze of smaller rooms...

'Assisted Dying' (called MAID in Canada) has long been considered a slippery slope. Stories like the one below have been coming out of Canada for several years - actually since MAID was made legal in Canada in June 2016. It appears to be a...

I would highly recommend because it's not bad for a small regional event. Joshua Cutchin was there talking about how our expectations can change the nature of the experience. Kevin Lee Wilson talked about haunted houses and the architecture of...

Unfortunately there will always be people (mostly men from what I've seen) that think they can game the system when it comes to these spaces. I live by the motto: "There's an asshole for every crowd." I have never once been disappointed.

My bad, it was Kevin Lee Nelson, not Wilson. He's co-written a number of books with Chad Lewis on cryptids. The Van Meter Visitor ones are pretty good.

Yep — or shall I say: The dangers were obviously known right from the start by people high-up in the chain who lied to the public, calling it "safe & effective" — while pushing it with mass propaganda and mandates. But how much of the mass vax...

FYI. Came through my FB feed. Can't vouch for it but is saying stuff I've heard floated for a few years. "Naomi Wolf nails it: The biggest shocker in the Pfizer docs isn’t the side effects we’ve been aware of, it’s that the vaccine is designed...

I still really doubt it. There has been no shortage of grifters and conmen since the beginning. Rick Doty so thoroughly poisoned the well those stories are still being told to guys like Grusch to this day. Either way, other people are doing...

Good point. Maybe that was part of it. 'Man of the people'. The last 'whistleblower' was better but he wasn't too sharp, either.
