Are we just getting old? Every Time I turn around some one else is dead.

An occasional guest on The Paracast, AJ Gevaerd was a prominent Brazilian UFO researcher, and one of the key sources for James Fox's documentary on the Varginha UFO event, which involved sightings of possible alien creatures.

He appeared on The Paracast for the following episodes:

December 17, 2006 — Klaus Dona and A.J. Gevaerd

August 12, 2007 — Dennis Balthaser and A.J. Gevaerd

May 18, 2008 — A.J. Gevaerd

October 25, 2009 — A.J. Gevaerd

October 23, 2011 — A.J. Gevaerd

Lisa Marie Presley, only daughter of Elvis Presley, dead at the age of 54:

And do not forget the tragic deaths of a number of rock figures at half that age, 27, such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Brian Jones, Pete Ham, and so on and so forth.

Richard Belzer.

We should be interested in him not just because of his acting chops, but due to the fact that's he was into conspiracy theories; in fact he wrote about the subject.

Interesting that his most famous role, a police detective named Munch, appeared as that character on multiple series. He was even in an episode of "X-Files."

You may not know who Jerry Moss was, but as the "M" of A&M records (partnered with Herb Alpert, the "A"), he was a major music executive whose company introduced some of the most popular songs by some of the most popular artists over the decades.

Phyllis Coates was the first Lois Lane on TV. She brought a no-nonsense edge to the character, and appeared on the first season of "Adventures of Superman."

Her career didn't go very far after that, but her portrayal clearly influenced some of her successors, particularly Margot Kidder, Teri Hatcher, Amy Adams, and Bitsie Tulloch (whom I regard as probably the best).
