Some characteristics of a good hoax video might be:

1. Original. Everyone's seen the blurry lights in the sky.
2. Engrossing. It should capture the imagination and demand that you watch over and over and over.
3. Mysterious. What the hell was that?
4. Indeterminate. Yeah, that could be a hoax but ...
