William has also been a consultant for the "UFO Hunters" series on the History Channel and also appeared on two of the episodes. He is also a research associate with NARCAP (National Reporting Center for Anomalous Phenomena.) He is credited with meteorological and radar analysis for the November 7, 2006 UFO Incident at O'Hare Airport in Chicago.

Puckett was also Director fo Montana's Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) until June 2019 and has written several technical articles for the MUFON Journal. He spoke at the International MUFON Symposium in 2008 on his radar work on the Stephenville, TX "sighting wave" in January of 2008.

He's been a guest on many talk show radio programs, interviewed for some TV programs, and was recently interviewed on an Arts and Entertainment Channel "Paranormal State" Program titled "First Contact." Today he continues his work as an independent investigator and reporter on his website" UFOS Northwest.

UFOs Northwest is based in the Pacific Northwest in Helena, Montana. It's a national reporting center for UFOs that is seeking to find the truth about the UFO phenomenon and share our results with the public. Puckett believes that for far too long, citizens have been kept in the dark by government and research agencies. While most sightings can be explained by natural occurrences, some UFO reports suggest the presence of other forces, beings or scientific phenomenon heretofore undefined by current technology and conventional understanding. When William isn't trying to solve the UFO mystery, he enjoys fitness, cooking, and reading.

Over the course of your interaction with tv and film have you formed an opinion as to whether or not the industry views ufology as a content pipeline or are the producers etc. genuinely interested in moving the narrative forward?

Also, have you ever come across data that would suggest a "craft" changed course based on communications occurring on the ground, meaning are we being surveilled and that strategic maneuvers are based on this capability? I ask because this may provide insight as to whether or not we participate in a kind of decision-making process.

I am not sure if I can give you good answers to your questions:

UFO documentary producers are interested in UFO's to the extent that they can make money on films. They are aware of the fact that UFO documentaries rate well and they want to produce something that will sell.

Regarding your second question I would say no. However, some UFO reports are highly suggestive that unknown craft behave as if under intelligent control and sometimes will respond in this fashion. (E.g. will respond to laser or flash light by moving or producing a response like a flash.)
