They're shutting down the fence 
. I wonder if the fact that the signal is publicly accessible has anything to do with it? I wonder if the new systems intended to replace it are equally accessible? I doubt it. This is rich in nutrients for UFO conspiracy theorists. The system is mentioned in Howard Blum's UFO book Out There. If anybody knows what's going on up there it's Space Command, and if they're shutting down the fence, then I suspect they've already got a working replacement and they're just not telling us about it. Either that or the aliens have infiltrated government and are dismantling our detectors from the inside. Should we start preparing for invasion?
