Paranormal Novice
Has anyone written about what would happen if UFOs and aliens were actually proven to exist, and what impact their spirituality, or lack of it, would have on the people on Earth? If they exist, and if they are religious, and if they believe in a god or gods, then how would earth people react to that?

There are currently twenty two major religions., a crap load of offshoots and cults. There are approximately five major races, two hundred nations, and seven billion human beings on this planet.
In the midst of all that diversity., what difference would another species with another set of beliefs or lack thereof really make?

There are approximately five major races

Sceintifically there are only three races with about two dozen variants between them.

What difference would another species with another set of beliefs or lack thereof really make?

When it's demonstrably superior? One hell of a difference! There isn't enough toilet paper on earth to deal with the collective pants-pooping it would cause.

Alien religions? One word: missionaries.

Well., since they may have played a role in the birth of our religions. Given that hopefully they have some ethics. Maybe they won't try to brow beat us into worshipping The Grand Gray Puba.

Fundamentalists would wig, no question. As for the rest? More wiggers, I'm sure, but who knows? With the nine different personality types amongst humans, there are at least several possible answers, none of them all that pretty to begin with.

I tend to think of us at the bottom of the food chain because we are self aware, but not to the extent that we should be in order to handle issues involving dimensional characters other than our own. Like, we're aware of our emotions and we act on them instead of being aware of what makes us emotional so that we don't act, or react, inappropriately or inefficiently.

If for some reason we are able to experience anything beyond our usual veil, how we handle that might indicate our moving beyond the next the dimension and into the next. Or maybe our exploration into the next dimension just gets broader, just as it does within a not-paranormal existence. We grow laterally in an information gathering sense so maybe that rule applies here or there. Maybe there doesn't have to be a "there" because everyone can visit us lowlife here. :D
