In that they though have plenty of company this is typical political theater making inflated half truths. I haven't seen the videos myself but I understand the discussion is graphic, there are some objectionable scenes taken out of context and then there are those sting videos. My feeling is she hasn't seen them and is responding to the "meme" of a frankenstein like scenario It could have been acting but I think her response was heartfelt if not disingenuous for not being fully filled in. I would be refreshing for someone to have said " I just haven't seen it yet" Truth be told I sort of expect this sort of lying thing from pretty much everybody.

CNN going for a ratings grab was just feeding meat to the lions knowing full well what the outcome would be and relished every moment of it and pretty much had it their way until near the end when they responded to social media questions (pressure?)

The questions were designed to provoke personal attacks and emotional responses not furthur national discourse on national matters.

It's a red herring. The videos bring to mind a similar stunt pulled by an activist some years ago against ACORN, a community action organization catering to low-income people.

The videos were heavily edited, with segments added by the activist, conveying the impression the organization was up to no good. So the stupid members of Congress who believed the videos, which were exposed as fakes, killed ACORN's funding. So it died. Indeed, even though it is no longer around, they still regularly include resolutions in bills defunding them.

An anti-abortion activist group created sting videos, heavily edited, in an effort to claim that Planned Parenthood was selling fetal tissue and organs. Not true. Even though edited, it's clear they confess to no such thing. Exactly two of the agency's offices do donate fetal tissue, with the permission of the patients, for scientific research. They charge maybe $100 for processing fees. Fetal tissue has been a valuable tool in medical research since the 1930s, and was instrumental in developing the polio vaccine and other remedies.

So we have vicious and hurtful lies perpetrated by activist organizations and groups with agendas, and their stunts, while always disproven by investigators, continue to be believed and exploited by shady politicians. Fiorina knows what she says she saw was nothing more than someone's stock footage placed out of context and had nothing to do with Planned Parenthood or the Planned Parenthood videos. But she refuses to withdraw that lie.

More troublesome than Planned Parenthood, Ms. Fiorina would resort to saber rattling in dealing with Russia. She wouldn't bother talking with Putin. Instead she would rebuild the fleet (like we don't have enough ships), add more missiles and troops to Europe. I'm quite sure all the wacko neo-conservatives loved the sound of that.

These are the kind of politicians we have to choose from? No thank you.

Concerning Trump. Americans have short memory spans. Another billionaire named Ross Perot ran for president. We found out that billionaires don't work well with others. They like to give orders and have everyone obey them. That doesn't bode well for a politician who is supposed to work with Congress. Granted the present president pushes through the legislation he wants and both sides seem to acquiesce.

I am posting here, since after 10 years, things are just worse.

The latest example of a Trump & Co. fraud is the claim that their new Trump T1 smartphone is made in the U.S.A. As you can see, it's actually a rebadged Chinese Android knockoff:

The Trump Organization has launched Trump Mobile and plans to release the T1, a smartphone that it says is "made in USA" at the same time that the iPhone 17 will launch. The problem is, the phone was made in China.

And please note that some smartphone parts, such as displays and CPUs, can't be made in this country. Maybe in 5-10 years, but not now.
