OK, all seriousness aside: It's a glitch of the import system. The original forum software we used, SMF, had issues translating to vBulletin. Birthdates were not properly transferred, so they reverted to a default date, which is January 1, 1901. Since vBulletin doesn't believe anyone should be that old, it was generous and give them all 2008 birthdates.

Because I am such a wonderful person (no laughter please!), I have fixed this problem. So any remaining birthdates should be real. Feel free to revise your User CP settings, of course.
