Oh man folks... You cannot believe the joy that I had today, when I found out that one of my new inventions works.

I have a celestron telescope, a Newtonian, and created an adapter so I can use my Olympus C-50 camera on it. I can now take pictures digitally, and connect it directly to a laptop, adjust focus and take pictures.

Even better news, My adapter for my camcorder also works.

So... All you naked women out there who like to leave the windows open... BEWARE.

All kidding aside, the images I took today turned out pretty good in the daytime. I can't wait to take some pics of the moon.

Okay, tried out the telescope this evening, had some success, but it was overcast, and I'm stll working out the focus on my camera in conjunction with the telescope.

The pics are on my Comicspace website.

They're in the Unusual gallery.

I used my cam corder on my telescope before and it worked well. I'm sure your invention even looks better.

k, just looked at one of the moon photos, looks about the same as my results. I no longer have my telescope out, but last thing I tried to film was Jupiter, my telescope didn't really reveal anything interesting. Jupiter actually looked blue heh. If you ever get some nice detailed pics, I'd like to have a look. Actually, even poor ones.
