The RH Factor, and Alien Abductees.

I belong to another bbs, a very small one in terms of actual posters/members. We migrated to the space after many years on a large board that was a spin off after Coast's board and it's following board, Post2Post, closed.

Had read something years back about O- blood types and the abduction phenomenon so I polled our few member, about thirty in number. Many didn't know their blood types, but all of us who did were, oddly enough, O-.

None of us claim to be abductees, but all of us have had very strange experiences in our lives. That's what drew us together in the first place so the O- thing was a surprise. Can't say it's significant though because too many couldn't weigh in.

My husband, an O+ guy, is probably the closest thing to an abductee I've ever known, but his experiences, many of them still unrevealed to me, aren't of the typical Grey variety. He says they don't look like that at all.

If I ask him questions, he gets severe headaches trying to answer them. He has to stop trying after a couple of them because he says he's not supposed to talk about them. Took me about twenty years to get very little info from him.

That said, he's an incredible optimist, takes life as it comes and pretty much moves around obstacles with ease and a positive outlook. Nothing negative to report though the reporting is next to slim and none. LOL

I honestly don't know my blood type. I've only seen a doctor a few times in my life. I've had one medical exam in my life, attempting to make some easy money doing a clinical drug study, and the technicians all seemed very confused by the results of my blood work and were looking at me like I was from another planet. They were for some reason unable to tell me what was going on, but told me they couldn't use me for the study and that I needed to go to a doctor for a physical exam. Never did.

This is an interesting topic. I have seen it discussed elsewhere, but I don't recall where. Could have been the forum on Strieber's site. There are some very reasonable people who regularly participate there. They seem like "old souls" who are not likely to be impressed with some new revelation just because Strieber is pushing it that week. There are, of course, many nutjobs on there too.

I don't know my blood type, even though I have asked when bloodwork was being done. No one would tell me, which I find strange. They said I could go give blood and find out, so maybe they don't tell people just so they'll give blood. I dunno. The generational thing is interesting. There have been lots of odd experiences in my family, and I have had a couple of bizarre episodes that may have been more than just freaky glitches in the matrix, but I have never considered myself an abductee. That's fine with me, too. :)

I think I'm missing something here - I don't see how without an already established correlation there's any more reason to see significance in RH factor than in eye colour, or any number of other genetic factors that distinguish some people from the majority.
Still, any information on the genetics of alleged abductees would be useful.
If there are any unusual levels of any hormones or anything of that kind that would also be of interest (for all we know they're being milked like cows for a subtance used to make Alien Ice Cream)

You know what would be really cool, would be to see the social, economic, and ethnic breakdown of abductees across the globe, matched to their blood type. I am speculating that the percentage of those people might have a negative RH blood commonality.

Or... They're all just fucking crazy and it never actually happens to people.

My latest hypothesis: alien abductees watch more online porn than the average person. I will attempt to prove this with rigorous research and a peer reviewed paper.

Watch this space.

Isn't blood type somewhat linked to genetic origin?

I personally think that most abductees are probably more suggestible and hypnotize-able than the average human and, if anything, that's what they probably have in common. Some ethnic backgrounds have a reputation for being more suggestible than others (Celtic, Native American, et c). I'm not a fan of those kinds of theories, but they're what I think of when people start talking blood type.

For the record, I'm A+. I aced my blood test.

And though I've had lots of weird experiences, abductions are not among them (as far as I know).

I wonder how long it will be, before some scientist/researcher/fraud/talentless hack latches on to this idea and then runs with it?

Regardless, I think there might be a serious correlation to blood type and the likelihood of being either an abductee, or potential abductee.
If people are being abducted by aliens because of their alien blood type, it wouldn't make any since. You would think that they would be more interested in Earthly blood types than their own.

I agree with David Biedny on this one.

It seems unlikely that an advanced life-form would meddle with human beings based solely on their blood type or genetics. Unless, of course, they're bloodsucking vampires, the likes of which conduct all their business in the backrooms of the poshest research laboratories.

Sorry for breaking off on a fictional-tangent - I tend to behave this way whenever pressed for comments on speculative theories.

:p

I have o+ blood, but I carry the negative gene also. I am 27 years old, and I have brown hair and eyes. Just in the last few years my facial hair has been turning slowly red, and it is strange to me. I've had really vivid dreams my entire life of the world as we know it ending in different ways. Since an early age I have felt like I have some very important purpose, but I haven't accomplished anything significant yet. I have never seen any aliens, but space and the subject has always interested me. I have seen something very strange in the sky before. One night really late I was laying on my back looking up at the stars. It was a really clear night with no obstructions. I was concentrating on one specific cluster of stars when more fainter stars started to come in to sight. I noticed little dots of light moving between the stars like the distance between them was very close, but I know that the stars are billions of light years apart so thats impossible. The dots of light would have to be moving faster than light to close that distance in minutes. As I focused more I saw the same activity everywhere I looked in the sky. I watched as the dots of light would leave one star in a direct path towards another and stop at that star without passing by. It was like looking at a functioning gala tic civilization, in which we have been isolated from as punishment for something our race has done. I would also like to point out something that has happened to me repeatedly during my life. There has been numerous times that I have woke from a deep sleep because of the feeling of a presence. When I wake up I am unable to move or yell to wake my girlfriend up for help. I can only hopelessly moan very low as I try with all my might in a panic to roll back and forth to wake her, but I can't. I always feel a presence leaving the room just as I wake, but in the process of panic I can not move my eyes to look. It always is just out of my sight. A minute or two later I am able to brake free of it and jump up yelling, but the presence is already gone. I don't know if this has anything to do with aliens, a spirit, or just a problem that I have? Has anyone had a similar experience before?

Sounds like classic sleep-paralysis. I have had the same experience a few times. Once when it happened I saw an apparition of a crazy looking old man at the foot of the bed and a shadowy form on top of my girlfriend beside me. It can be pretty unpleasant, but many people experience it occasionally.

That's funny.... My dad's side of the family has black and red hair and my mother's is black and brown. I've always had brown hair but in the last several years my facial hair has become more reddish than brown. Not sure what to make of that but is interesting to note.

Sounds similar to sleep paralysis or like your trying to leave your body or your returning to your body unsuccessfully. Have you ever researched astral projection/oobe?

Mine is literally an old hag that kinda resembles the deadgirl-avenging-spirit in the movie RINGU (the Ring).

<Insert favorite profanity> SCARY!

I would hazard a guess that any species that has technology sufficiently sophisticated to move between star systems/dimensions, can probably whip up a new batch of blood on demand, without having to stick needles into humans. The whole thing about the cows that have had anuses/digestive tracks removed by some exotic surgical procedure is probably a bit more complex.

And just for kicks, I have AB+ blood, which is apparently fairly rare, and the times in my life I've given blood, I keep getting callbacks from hospitals to come give lots more. The fact that my blood is translucent, and tastes like raspberries and almond paste probably factors into the equation as well.

I dunno David. I don't think we can assume things like that. If a species can travel interdimensionally or intergalacticly I don't think we can safely assume they have mastered all realms of alien(meaning us) biology and physiology.

We can travel to the moon and to the depths of the ocean. We can send probes to deep space and make weapons that can obliterate our world. Surely a speicies that has all this can easily control all manner of disease and viral infection, right? See the two things do not necessaily correlate.

I see where you're going with this... and I guess if you place any credence on what abductees report with traumatizing experiences and shoddy surgeons skills by aliens/et/interdimensional-whatevers then your comments might hold up.

Although...

I've often wondered if the greys and other sighted entities are in fact screen images for something less tangible, but very real.

In terms of the greys - what's presented in society, is always a bit different for everyone's perceptions.

Also, I've heard it discussed on the forum, and occasionally in the episodes, that maybe certain craft or ufos might actually be a combination of metal and cellular tissue, hence the bio-mechanical theory. If that were true, and again this is just speculative, but I think whatever beings constructed such a thing, could probably deal with our biology.
