The Outer Limits vs. The Twilight Zone - which do you prefer?

I've always thought as the two being pretty similar but with TOL being more sci-fi/monster based. But I was surprised to go onto IMDb to see that there are almost 56,000 reviews for TTZ and only a little over 5500 for TOL.

Which did you guys prefer & why? I've always liked TOL better because of the sci-fi/alien/monster aspect. I'm also old enough to remember when these would come on at the scheduled time on network TV (I'm 46).

For some reason, the opening sequence to The Outer Limits seemed creepier than The Twilight Zone.

Twilight zone by far. To me, outer limits was more horror, as opposed to sci-fi thinkers.

Twilight Zone...the thinking person's TV show, ahead of its time, moral sci-fi, Rod Serling, great actors, timeless stories...

Nothing like a little horror .... especially when you're a little kid.

Then again, as admittedly not an aficionado of either, I’m attempting to recall from a 5-6 year's old memory.
